Not worth the money
Course isn’t in good shape. Tons of awful looking fairways and bald spots. Greens were ok. For $149 go to pinehills or play crosswinds. They’re both way better.
Course renovations in progress
Course was under construction on a few holes, greens were very sandy still. New cart paths coming to the front 9, currently dirt. Few holes had some ground under repair areas. No drivers allowed on the driving range anymore. I could’ve played Pinehills for the same price on Friday. Overall value id say it was pretty overpriced at $100 for its current conditions. I do love the course and its playability. Looking forward to playing it again soon.
Needs work on conditions
Normally Waverly Oaks is very good, however right now it’s only fair. There are bare patches on several fairways and they are replacing the cart paths, so there is turf torn up on the side of almost every hole. I also think this course is over-priced in the summer. Only play this when you can get a bargain price.
Fall Ball
It wasn't up to its normal standard. Usually wonderful, but a bit worn and spotty.
great course
this course was in great shape. pace of play was good. greens were fast . halfway shack was open.
Great course
Great course. the greens are a bit beat up from old ball marks. Fairways solid 4/5 some dirt patches but few and far between.
Great shape
Awesome layout, and course was in excellent condition. One of the only times I wish the Ranger was doing his job because the two foursome’s in front of us were slow, but did 18 in 4:45. Highly recommend playing this gem over this surrounding courses.
Outstanding
Everything was superb. Fast greens, groomed fairways and challenging rough.. mid a shot or a putt pay a price. Very charming but fair.
I enjoyed the day but the course won. Can’t wait to play again.
My favorite course in Mass.
I hadn’t played Waverly in many years but it was just as I remembered and love. The layout is challenging with many elevation changes and lots of break in the greens. With it being the end of the season, some of the tee boxes were in tough shape and the fairways had quite a few divots. Overall I think it’s a great layout and the conditions are good! Very enjoyable as it always has been!
Nice, but will not be back
Bunkers were sand, rocks...and occassionally hard. Fairways were ok, but def not up2par for price. Super windy that day. Prob has something to do w my average rating.
It rained quite a bit for hours before and the course still played well. Greens were still fast. Great day all around. Nice folks there

I completely agree about the bunkers, most of them are in bad shape with not only pebbles but large rocks and what seems like dirt instead of sand. They need work as those rocks end up being embedded in the greens when they inevitably land there!
