The Lynx at River Bend Golf Club

The links have always one of my favorite courses but the front nine was closed due to aeration so the plan was to play the back twice no real problem but upon arriving back at the the tenth tee box there was a tremendous bottleneck

We played nine and left unhappy

1st time playing this course. A challenging course layout made for a good experience. The tee boxes leave a lot to be desired and the greens were a pretty slow, but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

It was a beautiful Saturday and I played with someone I did not know. This was his first time and now will come back with his son.

The course is nice and fairly fun to play, unless the foursome or twosome in front of you is playing slow even after the ranger is called to come and get them back on pace, but overall the course is nice and in good shape, and comparing to courses that are in some what close proximity (some crystal springs courses) it’s just as nice but cheaper, even on the weekends.

It’s been around 8 years since I last played this course. Overall pretty pleased. Layout is a bit quirky. Directions to each hole could be better. Playing the blues could be hazardous for players playing different holes cause alot of the tee boxes are hidden.

Greens were very slow but I wasn’t unhappy because they were healthy. Once they are cut and rolled they should be presitine. Special shout out to the bartender for the delicious transfusions. Course employees were very gracious and helpful. I would definitely return. Group of 18 guys that came with me and no one complained about the course… just commented on the slow greens

Enjoy playing here. Greens were in great shape. Only issue was on the 10th tee box. A foursome decided to cut the line in front of the group that was in front of us. We didn’t know where they came from. This was in full view of the pro shop, which faces the 10th tee. I made the pro shop employee aware of this. While nice enough, he just shrugged and said he didn’t see or know anything about it. He made it clear he wasn’t going to confront them. This wasn’t the first time I’ve seen this here. I think groups occasionally stop for lunch or drinks at 5he turn, then just jump back in when they feel like it. Pro shop doesn’t monitor or address this. They need to take into account the needs of the groups who don’t stop .

Has its challenges yet also offers opportunities to recover too

Great course for all levels of golfers.

Love the course and we got a great deal. Was a little wet in places but we have had a lot of rain and it was early in the morning. Will definitely be playing again.

Had a great time at this course. The holes are fairly straight and if you can stay on or near fairway you will be fine. Once you go into the woods don't bother looking for your ball, lots of vegetation and overgrowth. The tree lines between holes are well kept and the green were in really good shape. I don't have any negatives about the course; we were able to finish 18 in about 4 hours. We had a great time, and I would definitely be back.
