Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club

Check-in was quick & easy- Bag drop staff very cordial and helpful- he went above & beyond by making me feel very welcome.. Course was in great condition- well maintained.. pace was a bit slow on the front 9 but we moved very nicely without any delays on the back 9 and finished just over 4 hours.. GPS equipped carts made my scorecard glow as the GPS provided great accuracy for distances.. I will definitely play this course many times before winter comes along!

Great views, challenging holes, no hold-ups, staff couldn't have been more helpful to our first-timers to Cummings Cove. The back nine are extraordinarily scenic. We're already plotting our return to Hendersonville so that we can golf Cummings Cove

Mountain course, but not as severe as typical mountain courses.
Found mostly almost level lies on all holes.

This course is one of the best for the money in the mountains. Love the setting, convenience and the staff is always helpful. The course has a consistent mix of wide open fairways and tight fairways. Water on several par 3's make you think twice about going for the pin or just dropping it onto the middle of the green. A couple of reachable Par 5's (No. 17 for sure!) bring eagle into play. Overall, it is my favorite public course in the area. For all you dads playing with younger sons, juniors (under 16) play for free with paying adult.

Challenging course, well maintained, conscientious staff. While I did not play particularly well, the course was great and we had a good time.

If you ever find yourself in the Asheville area, do yourself a favor and make sure you golf at least one time here. Interesting layout and picturesque scenery.

A beautiful mountain course well laid out to take advantage of the terrain. Although it runs through a residential community, the homes do not interfere. There are some funky holes, but that is part of the fun. Highly recommended.

Cummings Cove is always an enjoyable course. It is relatively short but requires shot making skills. It is always in very good shape and the greens have healed from the Spring Aerification. From the back tees the par 3s define how you will play the course. It should be noted that there are 6 par 3s on the course and they are challenging. The par 5s are reachable but require strong tee shots and fearless second shots, easy birdie, easy double depending on that second shot. There are only a couple of the par 4s where you can play the driver. Overall you will find Cummings Cove to be a very fair course in good condition. It can be easily tamed with aggressive tee shots, but become very difficult if those aggressive tee shots are not true.

One of, if not ,the best course in the local area.

The greens run very true. You can see the breaks without much trouble. The straight putts ran very straight. The fairways were in great shape. This is one of my favorite courses in the area. Through Golf Now, you can get a great rate. There are a variety of holes which require you to utilize all the clubs in your bag. The par 5s are a lot of fun and I can go for the green on a couple of them in 2.

Looked at other reviews on this course to make my choice, turned out to be great round. Course has beautiful surroundings and a challenging layout. Looking forward to playing here again next time I am in the area. Would definitely recommend.

Fun course and very friendly staff, especially Bill at check-in.. Multi-level greens. Several beautiful par 3's. Numerous holes offer nice views.

The course was in great shape for the time of year. It has some easy holes but some very difficult holes, a good mix. It is a fun course for seniors. The carts are equipped with an excellent GPS system, The GPS allows ordering from the snack bar for the turn.

I love to play this course. It has holes of all types...waterfalls, streams, ponds, Breathtaking mountain views. By far one of the best courses in hendersonville, and a great price for what you get. The GPS carts are my favorite.

Course was in good shape given the time of year. I was paired with a couple of terrific guys who were very familiar with the course & other local courses. Biggest challenge was greens (like billiard table) again due to time of year.

With the weather being great, it was a very enjoyable round...and the views on the back nine were outstanding. I'm looking forward to playing again...and can't wait to see what it will be like in spring and fall.
