Fairways in great shape, greens lush but a bit shaggy yesterday, bunkers playable, tee boxes could be in better shape on a few holes, cart path could use some repairs here and there, overall a terrific mountain course with beautiful views for a very reasonable price - thanks!

SOME TEE BOXES WE'RE A LITTLE BIT SCARY AND TRICKY TO CLIMB UP TO AND SOME WITH NO RAILING AND THE DAY WE PLAYED A LOT OF WETNESS AROUND THE GREENS!! A LOT OF UP AND DOWN MOUNDS AND HEIGHTS ALL OVER THE COURSE AND KIND OF FUNKY LAYOUT

Playing was questionable today as it wanted to rain, but it absolutely turned out to a beautiful day. Fortunately for us, everyone else thought it was going to rain, so we literally had the course to ourselves-almost. So pace of play was excellent. We thought the course was challenging and had a nice layout. Some of the holes played longer uphill than stated. Fairways were in great shape. Greens were in great shape. Yes, they are long and narrow, so it forces you to be a little bit more accurate so you don’t roll off. Tee boxes could use a little help, but weren’t terrible. Staff friendliness was great. Single bathroom in the pro shop, and then only one other on #3 three, I think, that actually was where three or four holes met up. Be sure to use the pro shop before you head to the back nine, because there isn’t one. No alcohol beverages available in the pro shop. They did have light snacks and some sandwiches, and soda. Nice newish carts with GPS. clubhouse is being redone, so no restaurant facilities available. had a golf now tee time. so value was great. It was also cart path only, but we managed.

Always a fun course to play. Typical mountain course. Fairways, greens and bunkers were in good shape. Tee boxes were all pretty bad for some reason. Full of weeds. Maybe a little overpriced.

Fun layout with small tricky greens. I couple of tee boxes were dirt and crab grass but other than that perfect condition and really friendly staff.

Course is beautiful. Tee boxes were a little rough from the white tees but they do look the most used since it’s late in the season. Overall beautiful layout and had a great time.

Everything is in good shape. Some challenging pin placements. Good experience

Lovely place with fantastic views. Course conditions were impressive and pace of play was consistent. We finished 18 in just over four hours. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Chestnut has continued to be a very good semi-private mountain course for conditions of the fairways and greens, improved cart paths and tee boxes and challenging layout. Played in just under four hours without any significant pace issues.

Golf course was in awesome shape, and you can’t beat the views. Very challenging and was a fun place to play.

The course was in excellent condition. The recent rains have the greens in great shape.

No driving range just a net ! Friendly enough people but not worth the drive or value for the money . Seems all the greens are 10 paces across and 30 and long , kinda annoying, bunkers not in good shape . Tee boxes badly beat up . Don’t understand the the 4 star rating and the only reason I booked it . Won’t return
