Foxfire Resort & Golf Club - Red Fox Course

Course conditions were ok; some greens not in good shape. fairways still growing in.

Course is more challenging than you would think. Elevation changes and hazards are plentiful.

No rough made play easy. Greens had some spots that still need to come in. No beverage service on the course, but they also did not give us a hard time about our cooler.

Fairways had not completely greened out yet. Greens were good. Only one ball washer on 18 holes of the red course. Other than that it was a nice experience.

The Grey course at Foxfire is looking really well right now. Greens rolled true.

Great classic layout. Greens were good. Fairways were marginal and not overseeded like in 2015 when I last played it. That was a bit disappointing. The condition of the fairways and other areas has deteriorated in two years time. Too bad. Greens were fine though.

Challenging course with elevation changes. New greens are wonderful to putt on.

Good value, greens were rough. design is not bad, easy enough for new golfers but fun for better golfers.

nice weather, nice layout, luckyly not many people played when I played. fair is ok for winter green is little slow some reason.

First time playing the Red Fox at Foxfire. Played the Grey Fox back in the fall and that was in pretty bad shape and is now closed but not sure what the reason is.

Anyway played on a Hot Deal and it was a great value and a nice layout. Conditions were very good given the time of year. Tee boxes and fairways in real good shape. Bunkers, or most of them, were raked and in good shape. Greens had a few, and only a few, rough spots so for what I paid it was a great deal.

The layout is very interesting; lots of elevation changes, plenty of water and bunkers.

Will definitely return; only a short ride west of Pinehurst, NC.

The course was in very good, but not great shape. The greens held very well but there were a few rough spots on them. I enjoyed the course a lot. I would definitely play there again.

Good but not great. Prefer the grey to the red.

Greens were in poor condition.

As far as overall condition it was petty good, greens were not bad, fairways were good. I enjoyed playing this course
