Lincoln Country Club

About
Lincoln Country Club has a scenic landscape of hardwood forests and meandering creeks. Although it might not seem like anything special on first glance, the golf course is actually one of the area's hidden gems. The traditional design has a surprisingly formidable test. The challenging golf course has a front nine with tree-lined fairways and small greens that demand accuracy. While the back nine is more open, it's no less challenging. Shot placement will still be an important factor when maneuvering the greens. Ponds and creeks come into play throughout and there are strategically placed bunkers lurking along many of the greensides. The Lincoln Country Club golf course finishes with a tough par 4 that demands an accurate tee shot with out-of-bounds on the right and a creek on the left. Don't underestimate the undulating green, it has seen many three-putts in its time.

Lincoln Country Club
Played Lincoln Country Club for the first time in a little over 4 years. Course was crowded on a Sunday morning and they'd had a small frost delay. Was not impressed with the fivesome that was three groups ahead of us, that each took two off the first tee, so needless to say, pace of play was slow all round. Course conditions were average. Teeboxes were shaggy. Fairways and green surrounds were fine as the bermuda has gone dormant. The greens looked shaggy, but still rolled fairly fast. Bunkers were not maintained, mainly by players as rakes were seldom seen. Cart paths were downright awful. They'd been ground down in many places to smooth them out, but even then, they were barely passable in many others.
As far as the layout itself, the par 3's and par 5's are really tough for the recreational player. All of the par 3's are long, save the 17th, and none of the par 5's are particularly accessible, either. The par 4's are not the longest, but do often dogleg or play either up or downhill. Fairways are fairly generous, and most greens have some pitch to them.
Golf Course really good
Course really good
Is Golf Course was in very good shape greens and ask her shape far away is cut really well really good Golf Course recommended anyone
Fun course
This course has a nice layout which made it really fun to play. The pace of play was slow as I ended up being behind a walker and a older couple which held us up. For the price you pay at this course you can’t beat it. The layout is fun, the course conditions are nice and the greens weren’t bad seeing how they were recently repaired. Staff was also very helpful with guidance as this was my first toke playing here. Will decently be returning soon.
One and done
Well, the course was not in very good shape. The cart was bumpy, and the cart paths were in horrible condition..
I wouldn’t suggest it at all if you have back issues..
Also, nothing was clearly marked. We couldn’t even find the green on the 18th hole.
Good overall
I have played this course many times. Took a friend who was playing course for the first time. The weather was perfect! Course was generally in good condition. ( except for the construction zone on 1&2) Fairways were mowed and provided good, consistent lies. Tee boxes needed some work. All of them needed to be mowed, with a few being very sparse. The greens were in good condition, although they were slower than expected. It appeared they had not been mowed today. In all fairness, I must concede that there had been rain for a few days prior.
All in all it was an enjoyable round and will definitely be back.
Worst cart paths ever! But course is nice.
If you have a bad back, you will not be able to walk after riding on these cart paths. Extremely rough shape is an understatement. It’s a shame cause the course is in good condition.
Challenging course
Fairways and roughs in good condition. Sand traps were mixed with some having hard packed sand and some have loose sand. Greens were in good condition, rolled true, held the approach shot, and were medium speed.
Challenging layout
Fairways and roughs in good condition. Sand traps were hard packed sand. Recent rain made them wet. Greens rolled true, held the approach shot well, were medium speed.
The course was good/average for the value.
The greens were in good shape but a lot of the cart paths and the course in general needs some major attention.
