Manager wasn't friendly
We played on a Tuesday, we had 6 playing which I wouldn't do on a Friday thru Sunday but I had family in town visiting and their was barely anyone playing at the course. He wouldn't let us play together and even met us at hole #7 to threaten to kick us off the course for playing together in which we had just caught up to each other due to the foursome infront of us playing extremely slow. We were playing at a fast pace and only had to let one single golfer play thru, instead of harassing us he should've gotten onto the foursome infront of us who was driving their carts upto the greens and not following cart path rules. I normally don't play with more than 4 people but due to family coming in from Texas was just trying to spend time on the course with them, I would understand if we were holding everyone up but we wasn't. I've played here multiple times before but will never spend anymore of my money at this course
Not bad
Decent course decent setup a little too crowded when I went but would still play again
Good Conditions, Design a Little Cramped
- The course conditions were among the best I've seen for the price, especially the greens.
- Pace of play was average for a late Sunday morning. Some waiting, but nothing out of the ordinary.
- Staff was friendly and accommodating.
- Course does have a driving range and putting green. Location of the driving range isn't ideal. It bleeds onto the first fairway.
- The design of the course in general is cramped. Many of the fairways run parallel to each other. Some greens and tee boxes put you right next to multiple groups on other greens and tee boxes. You're going to get to know the other people golfing that day, not just the people in front or behind you. That said, I would still play there again, ideally on a less busy day.
Great course
This was my first time there staff was very friendly. The course was great for this time of year. Only complaint I would have is the driving range is close to hole one so you have to pay attention or you may get hit by a ball. I will definitely be coming back.
At least weather was nice
This is a forgettable golf course. The layout was basically ok and challenges fairly easy. But course maintenance was obviously not a high priority.
Old school course
Decided to play since it didn’t appear as the course was gonna be busy on a Friday afternoon. This is a very old school course. Tee sheet is still by paper so the course didn’t know I was coming till I showed up. No problem their still figuring out how to use the golf now reservation. Course is very flat. No rolling hills to speak of. The greens are where they get you. Slick slick slick Usually on in two even for the par 5’s but 2-4 putt every hole. The course definitely makes up for being flat with the challenge of the greens. Putting green and driving range were fair to say. It a good old course for the old guys that hit it straight but not far. You can definitely spin the ball on the greens they do bite very well.
I did not play Pinecrest
I must have pushed the button for Pinecrest, which was mistake. I called Pinecrest to cancel, since there was no way of doing it on your website. I tried to use GolfNow to get a tee time for Foxfire's Grey Fox, but was unable to do so. So you owe me $4.00 and change, because I never used your service.

Nice place for the money
Worth the drive, greens are good short but narrow makes you want to go for it more often but can get into trouble
wet
Course was flooded. Should have been closed. Drove hour and a half to play in a mud puddle. Greens were great. Fairways were unable playable on certain holes. Lost a ball in a puddle on 18. Found 5 others in another on 18. Might try it again but will definitely call to check course conditions (water) before.
