Stone Mountain Golf Club

Being my first time , it's extremely tight short course , and I mean tight , you'll only use driver maybe 2/3 times , good place to practice your irons , extremely small greens mostly patchy right now , fairways and tees replicate a not so great lawn . Fun , scenic course fun to play for the value . My driveway is wider than some fairways lol

Condition is a little rough right now but still enjoyed playing. So peaceful and stress relieving place to play.

Overall the course is really good. A++++

They just punched their greens this week....golfnow NEVER tells you this..they were absolutely horrific....bumpy and sandy. So much sand i thought i was at the beach. But for a prepaid rate of $10 it was well worth it. The rest of the course was in decent shape. The wildlife was abundant....saw about 15-20 deer and actually one came up to me and I was able to pet it a little.

Enjoyed the Mountain View’s and a nice experience all around.

This was my 4th round at Stone Mtn, I’ve been playing for just over a year and I love this course. Several very tight t shots which adds to the experience. Fairways and greens have always been in good shape, The scenery is great all year but the fall is my favorite. Watch out for deer crossing the cart paths and fairways. Everyone is always super nice and pace of play has never been a problem.

Fairways are not in the best of shape . Greens are even worse . I played there earlier in the season and everything was a great shape . Very disappointed .

Many very narrow fairways. The course was rough in a couple of places, but a beautiful location , and with a hot deal a real bargain.

Need to check your cart before you start to make sure the brakes work properly. Gonna need them!

For the price you can't beat it. I would recommend this golf course to everybody.

Stone mountain....love the layout. Par 5s are pretty easy to get to in 2 mostly. Greens are so so...little fluffy and slow and some have dead spots on them. But it's worth the price. The rough was so thick you could have it roll off the fairway and lose it...but we have had a ton of rain lately so I'm assuming they haven't had the chance to mow. I love this course...usually you have the whole course to yourself. Most holes you don't need a driver so it's more about accuracy. Watch out for the wildlife....always see deer going to the course and sometimes on the course. And we have seen a bear one time. And a local showed us a picture of a rattlesnake that was on the tee box....so don't go looking for balls unless you run out. Definitely worth visiting.

If you like target golf, small receptive greens and beautiful views, it will be worth the trip.

Loved the round. Course was in great shape considering the drought we are in. Very pleased with the course this time out

Challenging and narrow layout. Have to play smart here. Greens were in good shape, tee boxes could use some work. Whole experience was really great overall. Amazing views and can’t beat the value!!! Definitely coming back here soon.
