Paschal Golf Club

Normally, the people are among the friendliest and it is a nice place for a quick 9. I got there a bit before my tee time and didn’t recognize anyone who was working. Despite my tee time, I was told to get in line behind 4 other groups. I went back to ask if I could start on #5 since there was wide open. He said - no and indicated that 3 groups follow each other every week and that another group was coming, even though they hadn’t yet teed off on #4. He spotted another guy ready to tee off on #5 and stopped our conversation short to go and stop him. Slowest 9 ever at Paschal. I guess their regular league started late and that takes precedence over tee times. Need to avoid Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings as well as early afternoons if the weather is cold. I hope the regular employees are back soon as they capably manage things, communicate well and are pleasant.

The people are always very friendly and seem happy to see you. Nothing fancy, but a fun 9 holes that is easy to walk.

Great little municipal course. 9 holes, but lots of variety on each hole. It's a short course, but the very small greens make up for that. Very friendly staff and pace of play was extremely.quick, only took 1:40 at 9am on a Saturday in early November.

Morning conditions were wet from rain…had to adjust clubs

Due to rain, course was muddy but greens were in decent shape. Good value for a 9 hole course.

Nice 9 holes with friendly staff. Course is in good condition. Just the clubhouse could do with a refresher.

We played at 7:25 am and the course looked AMAZING! Clearly you don’t need to be a fancy course to be beautiful and get 5 stars costumer service.

I should start off by saying, I’m a beginner and have not played any really nice/expensive courses. So I don’t have super high standards . That being said, Paschal is a nice nearby course that seems to be kept in pretty good condition. The greens are the main thing that could stand to be improved. The staff is always friendly which is nice…you don’t get irritated immediately from the club house staff (like some other nearby courses). I’d recommend this course for sure.

This golf course is perfect for a quick 9 hole course. The layout is fun and is well kept. I’ve been here a few times and every time the staff is extremely nice. Would definitely recommend if your starting out to give this course a try

I started playing this course a little over a year ago. Back then, they were redoing the greens. Wasn’t that great. This year, the greens are back and what a difference. Still needs work but way better. There are some real interesting holes, including the par 5 “The Abyss” and a Par 3 that has a challenging vertical drop. Some holes are obscured by hills which is challenging, Love getting back there to work on my shots, the challenges, and lunch in nearby downtown Wake Forest. Great value.

After several days of rain the course is in good shape. Looks like they have been sprucing the course up. Good value for the money.
