Overcrowded and slow
Unfortunately this course has taken several steps backwards.
Overbooking tee times, not preparing for cold weather delays and refusing to bring water coolers out on the course on multiple occasions. If you have to play it’s doable but hardly worth anything near $50 a round.
Course Conditions
Course is in decent condition. A lot of leafs on the course. Little difficult to finds balls off the fairway. Back nine tee boxes a little rough and some just dirty no grass.
We had fun.
Top tier course
Greens were in great shape and fairways were in good shape as well. Just the right challenge course.
Needs Tee Boxes and better management of people playing
Over all layout is great, but tee boxes were dog crap and pace of play was absolutely atrocious. It took over 5 hrs to play a round. Teed off at 12:40 ending at 520pm
Solid course but still overpriced
Played here for $61 yesterday.
Hedingham is a decent public course with a solid practice area for someone that likes to work on their short game. The fairways and greens were both in good shape and were cut low.
With that being said, unless you have an early morning tee time you’re looking at a slow round with multiple short par 4’s where you’re waiting around. I play here for the convenience but the green fees are a bit steep for an average course.
A hilly course
Many of the tee boxes could use some maintenance. The greens were in good condition. The holes were challenging.
You can see its’ former glory
First time at this course. Loved the friendly, open and interesting layout. Plenty of room in the landing areas. Lightning fast greens in great shape. Cart path only today but wasn’t an issue at all. Tee boxes could use some growth and the par 3 boxes could use some patching. Several eroded areas ( primarily due to cart damage) need serious repairs. While the fairways were in decent shape, much of the rough was sldamaged in spots and plenty of crabgrass. You’ll use your entire suite of clubs at this course and will enjoy your round; particularly for the price. I hope they’re able to make some of the necessary repairs with what remains of the growing season. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.
hedingham is good course with guide book
Nice club house and guide book help with the hints of bunker and curves and find out the hole 17. The 9 hole is closed due to heavy rain last night.
Dont like going around houses and crossing streets
The pace was really good. The Greens are excellent and fairways in good condition. However what I hate about this course is that you are always going by houses and crossing streeets. Could not even find the 17th hole as there were no signs. I prefer to play on a course which is in nature and not imbeded in a subdivision.
