Bella Vista Country Club - Highlands Course

I think is a fun layout offered at a reasonable cost. Course is in good shape and each hole is enjoyable but not overly long or hard. Played with my son and we had a very nice day in perfect weather. Driving range is well managed and frankly it was a better golf experience than we expected. They did let a single go out in front of us and ahead of the single there appeared to be a group of five. This really slowed us down the final six holes but still a good day.

Got to my tee time a little late and the staff was very friendly and nice. Almost all of the course was well maintained besides those pesky chunks of recovery spots, the layout was different but cool and the greens were very solid. Only downside was I didn’t get to finish my 18 with the sun going down. Fun course

Currently in rough shape but it is evident they are working hard to improve conditions. Front nine layout has lots of elevation and challenging shots.

Great layout, very challenging. Greens were in gray shape but the fairways have a lot of dead spots. I will definitely give it another try next time I am I town

Course was in great shape and the layout made it fun to play. Challenging. It not too difficult.

The Highlands is one of the best courses in NWA. The 9’s were inverted which is really the best way to play this course as the front nine is much more challenging and tracks through the forest. Course condition was fantastic. We got a great deal and were able to play for only $31. The greens were in pretty great shape, and the bunkers are well maintained. Something really cool is that the bunkers in BV don’t use a white fluffy sand like at other courses, but it’s not dirt either. I can only describe it as a “gritty” feeling that causes your wedge to skim through very well. I love hitting out of them. Everyone was super happy and friendly here. One staff member even stopped and joked with us on our 11th tee box as he was driving back to the club house. Pace of play got a bit backed up on the back nine. Our pace was at 4:25.

In fairness, with the hot weather, they’ve got the course about as good of a shape as you could expect. Greens naturally were a little on the slower side, but, smooth and pretty true.

This is a very interesting layout. Feels like you're on a private safari as you move through the front nine. Tree lined and lush. Back nine opens up a little with longer holes. In spite of the fact that we had a lot of rain the night before, the course was very playable, and the greens rolled very true.

This course is a great course with challenging holes for more experienced golfers. Beginner golfers would struggle and lose balls due to the course playing tighter than most public courses

Great course with some challenging holes but very fun. The course is challenging in regard to some of the narrow fairways but it makes you think your game through a little more.

The staff is friendly and they run this place like a well oiled machine. It was busy but never really had to wait. Would definitely be back.

Fairways still need a couple of weeks - dormant bermuda still prevalent. Greens were in great shape and fairly quick. Hole locations were in some really tricky spots so it was very tough to stay below the hole.

Nice layout, good value, and fun to play. Fairways were narrow but we didn't lose many balls.

Greens and fairways in excellent shape. Pace of play was good, 3hr 45min round.
