Bella Vista Country Club - Highlands Course

While I'm not a big fan of the membership options at the Bella Vista community, this course was a nice surprise I rather enjoyed it. Golf in the Fayetteville area is most frustrating. You either have unkept courses that have a decent cost or well-kept courses that are out of the cost range for the average person. At least the Bella Vista courses offer some deals on golf now, which is my only remaining option at the moment.

I liked the layout, lots of elevation changes, the fairways feel tight but are actually generous and open. The topography is very nice and the course is fair.

The course was wet, which was to be expected but the pace of play was very poor. I've played here before when the weather was nice on a Saturday with lots of people out and didn't have the jam ups like on the front side today. Played the back 9 twice to avoid that, really the back 9 is so-so like an average public layout.

I'd recommend the course, but only if you play the from t 9 as well. It's not worth $50 to play the back 9 twice.

What a fun test of your game! There’s some holes where you can grip it & rip it and some where it’s got to go straight down the fairway. Greens rolled slow to me and had a couple putts stop on downhill slopes to hole. Only other thing is it’s not in the GHIN database so my good round goes undocumented.

Great course, very scenic, in great shape. Members were very standoffish and not friendly at all. Loved the course, didn’t like the rude members that wouldn’t even wave back after waving to them on the course.

This was the most fun course I’ve ever played in NWA! Has some very challenging holes and is maintained very well. Would recommend to anyone!

Excellent job done on green keeping! Beautiful course, pretty difficult as well, wide fairways help out but the greens will have you begging for mercy....

All courses in BV are well maintained and an absolute pleasure to play. I drove from Dallas to play 18 and go back home when done. WONDERFUL

The course was a little wet when we played. A lot of shot placement holes with little forgiveness . All and all it’s a well constructed, beautiful course.

Always a great round on the Highlands just tough for weekend warriors.
