Wet day
The course was wet, which was to be expected but the pace of play was very poor. I've played here before when the weather was nice on a Saturday with lots of people out and didn't have the jam ups like on the front side today. Played the back 9 twice to avoid that, really the back 9 is so-so like an average public layout.
I'd recommend the course, but only if you play the from t 9 as well. It's not worth $50 to play the back 9 twice.
Challenging track
What a fun test of your game! There’s some holes where you can grip it & rip it and some where it’s got to go straight down the fairway. Greens rolled slow to me and had a couple putts stop on downhill slopes to hole. Only other thing is it’s not in the GHIN database so my good round goes undocumented.
Highlands
Great course, very scenic, in great shape. Members were very standoffish and not friendly at all. Loved the course, didn’t like the rude members that wouldn’t even wave back after waving to them on the course.

Great Course!
This was the most fun course I’ve ever played in NWA! Has some very challenging holes and is maintained very well. Would recommend to anyone!
Beautiful and Difficult
Excellent job done on green keeping! Beautiful course, pretty difficult as well, wide fairways help out but the greens will have you begging for mercy....
Love it
All courses in BV are well maintained and an absolute pleasure to play. I drove from Dallas to play 18 and go back home when done. WONDERFUL
The course was a little wet when we played. A lot of shot placement holes with little forgiveness . All and all it’s a well constructed, beautiful course.
Great course
Always a great round on the Highlands just tough for weekend warriors.
Golf Trip
The second hole (I believe) is a doozy with a elevated tee box and very narrow landing area... The course was good, not great. We had heard this was supposed to be the best of all the bells Vista courses but we actually liked the one we played the second day better... Was in good shape though and a fun layout. The clubhouse felt very old and outdated. Would definitely come back though.... It's only a couple hours up the road.
Hidden gem.
Immediately grabs your attention!! Well maintained with interesting features in a very picturesque setting amongst the woods, hills and creeks.
Course still dormat
The course has a great layout, tight fairways so being in the short grass is a must. Greens were really slow due to recent aerification. Overall very pleased with the course and the staff I will definitely be playing here again later in the year.
