Winston Lake Golf Course

Had a 7:32 AM tee time and staff didn’t get there until 8:15 AM. Golfers were waiting at the doors telling me that it happens often. What a joke of a course.

Used Hot Deal to play course. The course is hilly and challenging from that stand point BUT the fairways and greens were sub par. Lots of issues with greens under repair. If your just looking to hit the ball around then course I’d ok for the money.

Winston lake is a great place to play. The staff is great, always have been helpful with me . The still needs some work ,, but they have made major improvements. As with any course it takes money. People have to remember this is a city golf course. The city needs to alot more money . They have a thing going . You need to try it . I drive 30 minutes to play there at least once a month.

Great course to play at, especially for the price!

Hilly type layout with blind greens. A few greens needed to be repaired but overall a nice experience. Staff was great, laid back but kept the pace moving without being pushy.

The greens were in rough shape but other than that i cant really complain. Had good food options and another restaurant on the side.

Over all not worth the time to come out and play it until springtime

We booked a tee time the morning after Thanksgiving and showed up to find the course closed without notice.

Course layout and staff are tremendous but the greens and tee boxes were in awful shape. This could be the best course in Winston if someone would just take care of it. Need to blow leaves and such off the green or buy fans because putting was almost impossible based on the poor condition of these greens. I really hope this place gets cleaned up and does some advertising because it really could be great again.

Course is in great shape aside from a few greens which have some dry spots. Scenery is great with the leaves changing, which does make it challenging to find balls that stray off of the fairway. All in all the staff is great, price is phenomenal, and it’s a great course. Will play again.

Great value. This is a very challenging golf course but has not been well maintained. The greens need further attention. Every hole has elevation changes. The course rewards accuracy over distance.

Is okay here regularly if the greens get to consistently good condition.
