Good value/nice course
Played on a chilly day, so had course pretty much to myself. They maintain the course well here. Greens and fairways in good shape, leaves pretty much removed from course...seems like lot of lawncare guys working whenever I play here. Enjoyable last round of year.
second time there and learning to appreciate this course very much! Looking forward to many more T times!
Greens
Greens were in fantastic shape and it is a course to play your best shot.
Always enjoy playing this course.
We live just over an hour away, so we don't play Good Park as often as I would like, so I consider it a treat when we do. I love a traditional golf course that still holds up to the evolution of today's equipment, and Good Park certainly does. The sand traps could use a little more attention, but unfortunately, that seems to be the trend everywhere these days. The weekend rate is borderline high, especially for a muni course, but there are fine weekday deals to be had. Overall, this is one of my favorite golf courses to play.

Lot of tall grass in places that should have been mowed. Greens were fast, fast, fast. Course was very dry. Still enjoyed the round.

Greens were fast very fast but fair too.
Enjoyable round and the pace of play was awesome.
Always reliable
Conditions were a little dry, and areas outside of fairways get hard, but the ball definitely can run here and some big drives are possible. Traps need new sand or renovated, but are raked nicely for what they have. Shots around the green are a little difficult due to hard ground or areas that need some more grass, but overall this course is always fun, it was busy yet pace was excellent, and the layout varies. If Akron ever got the money to do a real renovation to turf, sand, and greens this place would be a gem.

It was the perfect fall day for a quick round of 9. Greens are a little hard and certainly fast, but no complaints here. Everything was in beautiful shape! Couldn't ask for a better hometown, local course!
Best public course in the area.
We had a ton of rain Monday yet on Tuesday morning the course was dry enough to walk with no issues. The greens are always fast and the layout of the course is demanding. You can't get a better value anywhere else in the area.
It was ok
The ground was so hard and the fairway and even in the rough there just isn't enough grass so your hitting the ball off solid hard ground.

Great shape
Good Park is in as good a shape as I have ever seen it.
The greens were absolutely perfect. Fast but fair and held shots.
Pace of play was perfect. A few groups ahead of us but we finished in 3 hours and 15 minutes.
The staff was out hosing off the greens because it was hot and dry.
So impressed!!
Hit it straight!
Tough track. Very tight. Very challenging. Not quite worth $50, but I would pay it again and I’ll definitely be back. Greens & Fairways were in good shape.
Too many trees!
The routing is fine but the trees have grown so tall and encroach on the fairways a bit too much for my taste. Very well maintained except for cart paths considering the weather. A pleasant round on a beautiful afternoon.
