Wife had a hole in one
Have always enjoyed Good Park but even though my wife aced #6 the course was in really bad condition, Bare fairways and burned out greens, always have expected more but was disappointed this time.
A lot of trees
Nice course. The greens were burnt in a few spots but I had a good time playing.
Great Course
Great course a little pricey for what you get. Trees make it challenging and other than a few rough spots under repair great conditions even after the rain.
Great course
Great tough conditions. A lot of trees to make it a real challenge.
J.E. Goodpark
great staff; challenging city course; highly recommend!!
Excellent course
I played this course in 2016 and had some issues about the conditions of the course. When I played this time, all my concerns had been wiped away! The course is in excellent condition. The layout and pace of play were great. Prices are good also. I would recommend this course and will be playing here more frequently.
My home course
I grew up across from Good Park. Have played it for 62 years and never get tired of it.
Goodpark
The course doesn't drain well so there are many spots that have standing water in the fairways and bunkers.
Pace of play was awful, 5.25 hrs to play 18 .. The greens were freshly aerated and some had granular fertilizer on them.. So the putting was very difficult to say the least.
Played Here for Many Years
Good Park is one of my faves in the area. It is always a challenge and is usually in very good condition.
The greens were great for this time of year
It was very cold some play was fast not many playing will I started, but course played well.
Nice public course layout
Goodpark is a public course in a "neighborhood" setting. Because of this, there are several holes that dogleg. It is a fairly long course (with a couple of short holes mixed in). There aren't any water hazards to contend with, but there are sand traps on almost every hole and the tree lined fairways provide some challenge to make good shots to stay out of trouble. The putting greens are in excellent shape(but were rolling a little slow..probably due to fall weather conditions) The grounds crew was working hard to maintain the excellent course conditions! Play it!
True test
The Park doesn't let up. Good conditions, greens still a little sandy, and shaggy, from a later aerification. Putts were not visibly bumpy, but not breaking as much as normal.
