St. Denis Golf Course

A foursome that wound up being very slow teed off the tenth tee while we were on the ninth green about to make the turn and the staff was neither apologetic nor willing to do anything to improve pace of play. They had 1 to 2 full holes open in front of them, backing up 5 groups after ours with daylight fading.

As far as layout and condition goes, the course was lush. The slopes of the greens were severe, but made much more manageable by the greens being on the slower side but still smooth. At $34 for riding 18 on a weekday afternoon, this is a respectable value, but the awful pace of play on the back nine and complete indifference from the staff left a pretty bad taste.

St Denis is a course that's always in very good condition with a great layout. You can find great rates on Golfnow & Teeoff to make it one of the biggest steals in Ohio. I definitely recommend you come out to Chardon & play St Denis

The only thing that kept it away from a 5 star was the greens. They looked amazing but were very slow

Been playing this course for 25 years. Don’t think I have seen it in better shape! Wonderful experience today!

Everything was A + with this course grees are very difficult!!!

Would definitely highly recommend playing this course very early in the morning the pace was slow after making the turn they must let people start off the back nine but that’s OK beautiful course good layout greens were very fast

Course was in fantastic condition! Staff had masks and pace of play was on par!

we were able to play thru 2 groups and played less then 4 hours which was nice.
