Nice Round
I like the course. I feel the course needs to be better maintained. The tee boxes were rough. The greens need water. I was amazed that the course was dry with all the rain we have had.

Nice mixture of classic and new holes
Course has all 9 original holes designed by Herbert Strong and Willie Tucker. These 1920s greens are superb and have terrific undulations. The conditions of the greens could have been better, but the course gets a lot of play.
The elevation changes on the back part of the property led to some unique and fun holes as well as terrific views.
Course conditions were good, but tee boxes need so attention.

Good course but...
Good course but could be better. Greens super slow and tee boxes hard as rock! Pace of play is a bit slow due to the layout . But a good course for the price. Beautiful views!

Great course
First time here- found a hot deal on golf now- drove out from NYC and everyone on their staff was awesome! Great layout and some tough doglegs that can get you into trouble- I’m a 15 handicap and I really enjoyed it- as always this time of year conditions are just coming into their own with grass regrowth on greens and normal maintenance- they had crews out on the course as we played and I was very happy with my experience- will be back

Worth a play
Staff is very friendly. Layout is quite fun. Fairways need a better cutting. Greens are rough, need some more care.
Overall not a terrible course, could be better. Pace was a bit slow.

Rough shape
Course had massive Craters throughout the fairways, very wet in many spots and greens were in rough shape. The course was pretty crowded and there were still many many mowers going around. Not ideal when trying to put or chip and they are blasting engines 30 ft from you.

Fairways in good shape greens were in rough shape hopefully it gets better as the weather gets warmer

Perfect golf day
Love the layout especially the back 9. Playing off the mountain requires well thought out shots. Fairways were in excellent shape. Greens were OK and should be better as season moves on. Inside management and starter were friendly and helpful. All in all a enjoyable day.

I'm a happy golfer who enjoys and appreciates the outdoors. Minebrook's combination of a beautiful mountainside layout with competitive holes that can reward you with a birdie or penalize you with triple bogeys always makes it fun. The staff is the best I've encountered and always acknowledge you with a warm welcome.

This course is a great value in a state of grossly overpriced courses. GREAT STAFF, course is reasonably open, but almost always wet in a few spots. Still, nice place to play.
