No Call About Course Closing For the Day
Booked a tee time the day before for 2:00pm the next day. It rained the day before for a few hours, but the day we were supposed to golf was beautiful. So we got everyone ready, showed up at 1:45 just to be told the course was closed do to weather conditions from the previous day. Wasted our whole day and time getting ready. Wish the course would have sent out calls or emails to everyone with a tee time so that we didn’t waste our day waiting for our tee time, getting ready and then driving to the course. Thought it was super inconsiderate.

Awful Pace of Play
5+ hour pace despite playing through one group. Not a single course ranger seen the entire day.

Good Round
It was a decent round for the money. The course gets a lot of play, but the staff is always friendly and works to get you out on the course for a good round.

Solid, nothing fancy
Nice layout and location, but poor greens and conditions. Lots of fun for the average golfer looking to have a day.
Would play again for sure but do not expect top shelf conditions.

Still in recovery
Course was in fair condition considering how much heavy rain hit it the past two days. Cart Path only today, so I walked and still managed a round just under 3 hours. Tee boxes and greens were in good condition. Fairways were thicker than normal but that I would think is because of the weather and maintenance not able to cut as frequent. Last 4 holes were in perfect condition compared to the rest of the course. I saw alot of improvement compared to the last time I played here.

Nice Round
I like the course. I feel the course needs to be better maintained. The tee boxes were rough. The greens need water. I was amazed that the course was dry with all the rain we have had.

Nice mixture of classic and new holes
Course has all 9 original holes designed by Herbert Strong and Willie Tucker. These 1920s greens are superb and have terrific undulations. The conditions of the greens could have been better, but the course gets a lot of play.
The elevation changes on the back part of the property led to some unique and fun holes as well as terrific views.
Course conditions were good, but tee boxes need so attention.
