If you want to just get out and hit the ball around it’s not bad. Greens are super slow and tee boxes don’t have much grass. Pace of play was good for Weekday morning.

Getting Better!
This has always been a nice friendly place to go, especially for locals, but it also had it's drawbacks that are sometimes left unimproved. This year, the course is getting better thanks to the new course manager. I've seen sprinklers in places that I've never seen before (I'm told many were hidden). Kudos to the manager on that. One of the drawback this year and in the last few years are the greens. I'm told that the manager wants to upgrade them but his hands are tied. It's a shame because the fairways are so much improved. I don't know who controls the funding, but whoever it is, you're keeping a relatively small investment from making Mine Brook take a big step forward. I have out of town friends who I play with often (I drive 45-60 minutes one way to play with them). We're used to playing on courses with true greens, and they're in the same price range as Mine Brook. I have never invited them to play Mine Brook because, although they would like the layout, they wouldn't like the greens.

Bang for your buck!
Minebrook is a surprising delight. The course conditions are amazing for a public course, except for a few greens that are spotty. There is a good variety of holes and the course has an overall great length. Fairways are relatively wide and forgiving. For the price with a cart you can’t really beat it. Especially if you get a hot deal or play after 4pm! This has become a home course for me and can’t wait to play next week! The cart girls and staff are super friendly too!

HOT AS HECK !!
Me and 3 OTHER IDIOTS were the only ones out there playing in the 95 degree , 150% humidity weather , lol !! That made for a round of THREE HOURS which got me to work ON TIME amazingly -I'd told my boss I'd DEFINITELY be late so he was SHOCKED TO SEE ME ! Greens were RATTY IN SPOTS but rolled true . Fairways were in good shape but the tee boxes WERE LIKE CEMENT AS USUAL !! Seems like no matter WHAT time of the year I play there they're ALWAYS like that . They should HAND OUT HAMMERS in the Pro Shop to drive your tee into the ground with ! Still had a good time though and WILL RETURN !

Poor course conditions
90% of the tee boxes had no grass, it was just dirt, filled with a season's worth of broken tees. There were no distinguishable fairways, and the greens were in terrible condition.

Course in terrible condition
Course is in bad condition. No grass on tee boxes divots in the greens fairways not maintained well. Overall this course is not great.

Not bad
Overall decent course. Greens not well kept. Lot of burned spots and crab grass on the greens giving difficult puts and non natural rolls
