Do not play here!
Horrible horrible conditions do not play here!! Worst track I’ve played on they should pay you to play greens are embarrassing you cannot putt one of the greens has a tarp over it with the hole In the fairway do not play here!! I repeat do not play here waste of money and time
Enjoyable Round
Overall an enjoyable round . First series of holes are close to one another which makes it challenging in terms of errant balls and disruption from neighboring foursomes. Course opens up on back nine and has some nice views and interesting holes. Greens are in variable condition so purists might be annoyed but they OK overall . While not in lush pristine condition the overall course played well and had interesting layouts. Starter and staff were welcoming. I would come back as the round was fun and worth a visit
Stop being cheap!
The course has so much potential! Every time I come here it’s more disappointing than the last time. Greens are in HORRIBLE shape. Tee Boxes are HORRIBLE. Service and personnel are 5 Star. Put some money into refinishing the greens and tee boxes/sand traps you will have a quality course you can actually charge a decent fee for. Do not spend more than $50 on a tee time on this course. Didn’t offer Blue tee boxes and charged $50.

Needs a lot off work
Tee boxes torn up. Greens very poor. Lots of dirt patches. Need some major upkeep. Guys I played with are in weekly league and said 100% improvement over last year. Still a long way to go.

Greens and tee boxes in poor shape
Played here on 6/7/20. Outside Staff were very friendly. The starter, Frank, had carts lined up ready to go and even put our bags onto the cart. Course was crowded but we tee off on time and got the round in in about 4:15 minutes. That’s the good part. I wish I could say the condition of the course was as good as the the rest of the place, but I can’t. There were numerous tee boxes that were in very poor condition (more dirt than grass). A few of the greens also were in bad shape. I’ve noticed that most golf courses are in their best condition ever due to the lack of play early on because of the pandemic, but sadly Minebrook isn’t one of them.

Good Value
This course was in good shape and for $55 it definitely surpassed expectations. The only issue was the insects. A lot of gnats and some sort of sand fly infestation on the 18th hole. However, overall, the staff was amazing, the course conditions were great, and it was wide open in terms of pace of play.

Tee boxes and Greens need work

Bad Greens/Tee Boxes
I probably wouldn't play this course again, unless a major overhaul happened to the greens and tee boxes. The greens were in awful shape, couldn't get a nice roll, burned out, some holes I was putting through dirt. The tee boxes had no grass in them, just tee'd off of dirt. A couple of the holes were soaked in the center of the fairway, so as you drive to it, there is a possibility of getting stuck in the cart. I will say, I did like the layout of the course, if proper drainage and greens care took place here, it would be a very nice course to play. They just need to invest some money.
Nice Layout but Needs A Lot of TLC
The layout and topography of Minebrook is quite nice but the greens and tee boxes were rock hard with a lack of grass. The greens had lots of crab grass, were super slow and hard to get a true roll. Most of the bunkers had swarms of hornets making it impossible to hit from there. I guess you get what you pay for. It was $40 with a cart. The course is not long at all except for maybe 2 holes (9 and 17). Approach shots can be challenging - hitting off camber and lots of sharp doglegs with lots of trees on both side of fairways. There is a fair amount of water but nothing daunting. If they fixed this place up it could be a really nice course to play.
Fix your course
Course was very bumpy, they didn’t take care of fairways, greens were rock hard, the ball wouldn’t stick to green, overall very bad course will never come back
