conditions were fair at best about 8 greens were terrible and one was loaded with sand!!!!!!!!!!still for 25$ on a sunday morning it was a good deal!its a nice layout!!!!!!! its summer so the place gets a pass!!!!!!!!

I have been lucky enough to play all over the world and I think (after much thought) I found the worst course I’ve ever played in all facets except the staff was nice, but our tee time was 30 mins late due to “double bookings.” Never heard that one. So...there was more dirt on the tees and fairways then grass. The greens if you want to call them greens (many would be classified as sand..and not top dressing) ran about 5 and I’m being generous. You could not get your tee in the ground because it was too hard. And the rough it’s indescribable. I’m just happy I left with 14 clubs with all the rocks under the grass/dirt. This was the biggest waste of $45.00 and 5 hours of my time and I wholeheartedly do NOT recommend this course to my worst enemy. The sad thing is there are some decent holes but this is just an example of an owner pocketing the money and not putting a dollar into what could be a decent course. If that ever happens maybe I’ll go and see. Otherwise, not a chance.

Bar closes around 5 so you cant get drinks or food at turn if playing afternoon round, no starter to organize tee times given a little slow but still confusing on who heads out

If you’re looking for a great price for 18 holes with a cart this is it. Not the best conditions. Many T boxes and spots on the course hard as a rock. Overall the price makes up for it.

Minebrook is a decent bargain course for the price at most days and times. However, it is typically in pretty rough shape, with a lot of bugs (especially on the back 9).

I’ve played it probably 10-15 times over the last 3 years. Mostly I feel it’s okay for the price (typically $20-35 at the times I go) but today was awful. Played through 6 holes at a good pace, and then we were left waiting longer and longer every hole thereafter. It got so bad to the point where me and my buddy decided to call it quits while waiting to tee off on the 14th hole. Three groups waiting at a tee box is pretty unacceptable. And the ranger was nowhere to be seen to enforce the pace of play. For reference, we tee’d off at 11:38 and we would’ve tee’d off on 14 at about 3:30 if we had waited. Could have easily been a 5+ hour round if we could’ve finished (can’t get any rhythm on a day like that). You could typically finish this course in a standard 4 hours or less.

Even though we have had a lot of rain in North Jersey recently, the course was in bad shape. Some fairways looked like they were starting to mow and then they stopped half way through. Some of the greens were badly burned, and the rough was extremely long. Usually this course is worth the cheap tee time, but this trip was not.

pleasantly surprised!!! it was wet!there was heavy rain wed-Thursday! played by myself and had a good time! I was pleasantly surprised by the nice condition of the coarse and told the staff out there numerous times good job! great day!

This golf course has gone through a couple of owners over the last 10 years, The Palmer group sold Minebrook to an investment group who is just using it as equity for other deals. As such, the maintenance is poor and the needed repairs and improvements are non-existent. What a shame and SHAME ON THE OWNERS for sucking the life out of this property.
