About
Established in 1926, Chippewa Golf Club in Curtice is one of the area's oldest courses. The course was designed by Toledo native Harold Weber, who was a four-time Ohio amateur champion and the city's first famous golfer. The layout has retained its traditional design and feel characterized by tree-lined fairways and small greens framed by strategically placed bunkers. In addition to the bunkers, there are two creeks that wind along the length of the golf course, coming into play on 15 holes. Golfers should be prepared for some tricky carries on the water holes. Though there are some holes that will make you think, Chippewa is a classic layout that players of all skill levels can enjoy. There are five sets of tees to make it even more approachable.

Overpriced
This course is overpriced their prices keeping going up every year. They overbook T times so plan on being stuck there all day. If the course is dead on a weekday don’t worry, you’re still paying $35-42

Nothing special just a solid course and fun for supper cheap. All around fun day

Very open
I’m somewhat new to golfing but this is a very good course to play. I usually hit a ball or two out of bounds but with the course layout it’s hard for that to happen.
Even on punched greens I had a great round
Really enjoyed playing Chippewa, even though the greens had been punched about 4 days earlier. They were coming back nicely, tho. Can't complain because I had 7 one-putts on the back nine! The course is out in the corn fields (if you build it, they will come). The lady at the snack bar was super nice. Very affordable. Even though the track is a bit flat and wide open, it offers some challenging holes. I was forgiven a few times off the tee box when I hit some pulled shots. A lot of other courses you'd be taking a drop. This also helps pace of play. The meandering creek sneaks into play, so watch out for it!
