About
Delaware Golf Club sprawls across rolling countryside that lends an idyllic and secluded setting. Donald Ross designed the original nine holes in 1922 and they were later joined by a second nine designed by Michael Hurzdan in 1998. The layout meanders through wooded valleys and ravines. The rolling fairways are fairly wide but they are lined with mature trees and bunkers heavily guard the small, undulating greens. There are also water hazards that come into play on a number of holes. Delaware Golf Club's second hole is notably challenging, it is arguably the toughest hole on the front nine. This par-4 requires not only accuracy in order to avoid the ravine on the left but also distance to carry the lake and remain in the angled fairway. Golfers will be faced with one of the most difficult putts on the golf course if their approach finds the wrong side of the green.

Standing water and heat
If it’s over 72 degrees at night and you have standing water the fungus and etc kill the grass. There are a few spots like that, but that is expected if you understand science.
One of the best golf now deals if you can drive 20-30 minutes from Columbus to play. A high recommend.
Saturday golf
Found the course on GolfNow. Friend of mine was joining me. Was an interesting experience shooting balls into the pond on the driving range. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The Group we played with as well. Matched us with another two some. Total play time was about 4 1/2 hrs. with a snack break at the bar. Brats and hot dogs were delicious. Will come back and recommend.
Bathrooms
Club house bathrooms were unkept. The bathrooms looked like they haven’t been cleaned in days and had a strong odor of urine.
Great course layout and pace of play!
Like this track and we’ll be back. Only concern is the ball marks on the greens. People need to repair their ball marks. Greens were in great shape otherwise.

Amazing price for country club level course conditions. Challenging but not unfair layout. All around a great experience

I was able to book a tee time the day before and was able to get off before an outing started. The course was in good condition and the weather was great. Keep up the good work!
Great course
Alwsys in great condition and arguably the nicest public course in central Ohio.
Great course with challenging layout
Greens were firm and rolled well. Rough was long enough it made you have to try to hit fairways. Great challenge for the casual golfer
Markers
Cart paths are not very well marked leading to confusion to which way to go. Also sand traps only have one rake per trap, Need at least 2, too much time wasted but as st all courses players don’t bother.
