Delaware Golf Club
About
Delaware Golf Club sprawls across rolling countryside that lends an idyllic and secluded setting. Donald Ross designed the original nine holes in 1922 and they were later joined by a second nine designed by Michael Hurzdan in 1998. The layout meanders through wooded valleys and ravines. The rolling fairways are fairly wide but they are lined with mature trees and bunkers heavily guard the small, undulating greens. There are also water hazards that come into play on a number of holes. Delaware Golf Club's second hole is notably challenging, it is arguably the toughest hole on the front nine. This par-4 requires not only accuracy in order to avoid the ravine on the left but also distance to carry the lake and remain in the angled fairway. Golfers will be faced with one of the most difficult putts on the golf course if their approach finds the wrong side of the green.

Solid Golf Course
I visited from FL during Memorial Week and Delaware CC is always a Must play when I’m in town……2 very different nine holes with a variety of hills and valleys, which gives Delaware some Unique character!
Great course!
Great course in great condition surrounded by mature trees and beautiful homes. Don't be deterred by the hole that runs parallel to Route 23, as this is probably the worst hole on the course. (Pro tip: Speaking of Route 23, if you're approaching the course from the north, you will have to pass the course and make a u-turn at Cheshire and head back to the north to get into the entrance.)
Definitely worth the $30 that I paid to play!
Excellent course and layout
Always a blast to play this course. Everything is kept exceptionally well and pace of play is solid.
5 hour round, no marshals, no food/bev cart
Course was in great shape, challenging, and fun in a lot of ways. But there was a lot to be desired from the staff as far as pace of play and amenities went. No marshals or anyone else on the course other than the starter. 5 hour rounds aren't fun when there's no food/bev cart. 4somes taking 10 min on the tee box, playing multiple balls, and not filling divots was just rude. Also weird, a small bucket cost $9 at the range also to just hit into open water with no yardage of any sort. Overall, that's not worth the $85 this experience cost.
Challenging but fun
Very nice track for a public course. Greens rolled good. Rough was jail bunkers decent
SAS
Great round, except for cart path only due to recent rain.
A quality course North of Columbus
Immaculate conditions. The greens are large and receptive. The tips are a challenge for a quality golfer. I like the layout because it is hilly and you are forced to play a lot of shots/clubs. The fairways are wide but rough is very penal.
Decent
Nice course, but wow too many houses too close. First hole tee shot was a little right, about 30 feet off fairway and it was 2 feet from the cart path and was out of bounds in someone's mulch bed. What? Driving carts across streets multiple times. Maybe I'm just not used to that type of course. Course was pretty tight, nice condition but pace of play was ridiculous. Normally easily get 9 in for a 6:00 tee time. Finished 6 and it was over 2 hours. And group ahead of us was still waiting to tee off on 7. Had somewhere to go so ended up leaving. MIght play again sometime hoping this was just an unusually slow weekday
Delaware delivers
The course is an interesting, challenging and fun tract. The greens were in excellent shape for this early in the year, as was the rest the course. The rough was up, adding tot he challenge, but nothing was “unfair”. Hit ‘em straight and enjoy the round.
Nice course and staff
The course is in very good shape. All of the staff were very nice and friendly. Looking forward to my next visit.
What a Joyful Classic
I love this course!
The layout is very cool and the front and back 9 are two totally different experiences but so fun to play together and the condition the course is in right now is the best I've ever seen. Greens are fast! Sand is new and fairways were nice. Loved the experience!
Great time
Great course. Shorter holes make it very playable but also mixes in a few penalty areas so you need to be accurate. Pace of play was great. Staff was friendly. Great experience!
