About
Jamaica Run Golf Club offers one of the most challenging layouts in the Miami Valley. The difficult greens provide most of the trouble. They are small and hard to hit and on many holes they are elevated above the fairway, making it hard to play a run-up shot. The bentgrass fairways are spacious and thankfully more forgiving, but they are bordered by thick rough. Water hazards come into play on several holes. There is even one hole that crosses the meandering creek that runs through the golf course twice. The par-5 18th provides a memorable finish, requiring a tee shot past a large pond to a fairway that sits well below the pond. Finding the right club to use and a good spot to hit are nearly impossible.

worst course i have ever played
the fairways and greens are dead. the tee boxes grass is extremely long. the greens grass is long. over all the upkeep of this place is terrible. STAY AWAY!!

If you want a fun round with some family or friends...
Don’t go here. Somehow the course has a 4 star average rating. Couldn’t tell you why. Went and had a 5 o’clock tee time by myself. I was hoping for a quality course that I could hit some quality shots on.
Starting with the quality of the course, it was in terrible shape. Granted it has been hot here for a few weeks but they don’t even fertilize the grass. There’s dandelions all throughout the course. The fairways are cut unevenly. The greens have so many ball marks I thought I was putting through a minefield.
The layout of the course might have been worse than the shape it was in. There were literally two holes that had 90 degree turns. Off of the tee nonetheless. Being someone who hadn’t played the course ever I had no idea what clubs to hit. Then the 18th tee shot from the tips, I had no idea where to hit my tee shot. I couldn’t see a fairway or even a break in some trees. The tee shot was over another holes green, I literally took my line from the pin. I had to drive up to the fairway through a windy cart path and pray I hit the shot where I needed to.
Some of the bunkers had grass growing in them, and they hadn’t been raked in what looked like a few weeks. The cart path was incredibly bumpy and uneven and badly needs repaved.
Overall, I wouldn’t ever play here again. I wouldn’t spend 5$ to play this course much less 35$ If you’re looking for a solid course for good value this is not it. Steer clear until they decide to put some money into the course to maintain it to be at least below average.

Tuesday snooze day
If you want to play Jamaica Run do not play on a Tuesday. 20 dollar special just means it will take you 5 plus hours to play 18. The pace of play is horrible it seemed like everyone would look for their ball even though went into ob or the trees and continued to back everyone up. At one point we asked the ranger if we could skip ahead and was good with it but didn’t help every hole backed up. We left after playing 12 holes there were two group back up when we called it quits. 1st and last time playing there.
