Bunker Hill Golf Course

For the price, this is a really great course. The scenery is beautiful, and the hills make for an enjoyable round.. The greens are a bit slow and some of the bunkers need some upkeep, but other than that the course was super enjoyable.

The course was updated since I was last there. It is well maintained and is a very forgiving course. This is a great course for the average recreational or beginner golfer. The fairways are wide enough so as to stay on course and still be challenging. The scenery and greenery is good and the snack bar is clean.

Great varied course with challenging holes.
Front 9 was better cared for than the back 9 but a beautiful course in all.

We played 18 holes each day at this course, and played it three times in the past week. We had a great time all three times. The rate of play was only bad one day when we were backed up 3 to 4 on the 16th, 17th, and 18th holes. It was a Saturday but the ranger should be out looking for that. The course itself was in great shape. The tee boxes are closed but the fairways and greens were very nice. Almost all leaves were of the course. No problem finding balls that were hit in the play area. Would play this course again.

An interesting layout for a short course. it defends itself with smallish greens. Course conditions are usually average to worse than average factoring in the general weather at the time. I wouldn't make it a particular point to play this course but if you do, leave your driver and high expectations at home and you might have a good time!

THE ENTIRE COURSE IS A MESS. I DEFINITELY WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO PLAY THERE AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. I HAVE BEEN PLAYING THERE FOR LIKE 10 YEARS AND AFTER JUNE THE ENTIRE COURSE GETS BURNED UP. THEY JUST CHANGED MANAGEMENT RECENTLY AND THE MANAGER IS VERY RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS. HE THINKS HE'S A COMEDIAN. I THINK HE SHOULD FOCUS MORE ON CUSTOMER RETENTION BY NOT BEING RUDE TO STEADY CUSTOMERS AND TRY AND GET THE COURSE IN BETTER SHAPE. THERE IS DIRT EVERYWHERE AND THEY HAVE DIRT TRAPS INSTEAD OF SAND TRAPS. YOU'D THINK THEY WOULD SPEND A FEW BUCKS AND PUT SOME SAND IN THE TRAPS. THE PRICE IS VERY INEXPENSIVE SO IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT COURSE CONDITIONS AND ONLY ABOUT SAVING MONEY, THIS MAY BE FOR YOU. THE WHOLE COURSE IS BEIGE AND DIRT. YOU GET A NICE RUN ON THE FAIRWAYS BECAUSE THEY ARE AS HARD AS A ROCK. THEY JUST PLUG AERATED THE OTHER DAY SO IF YOU DON'T MIND GREENS WITH SPEED BUMPS THEN BE MY GUEST AND GO BANG A ROUND. I WON'T BE GOING BACK ANYTIME SOON. ESPECIALLY WITH THAT RUDE IDIOT NEW MANAGER. THIS REVIEW WASN'T JUST POSTED BECAUSE OF HIM AND HIS ATTITUDE. THIS IS AN HONEST REVIEW AND AFTER YOU PLAY THERE YOU WILL DEFINITELY AGREE WITH ME. PRINCETON COUNTRY CLUB IS A GEM COMPARED TO THIS DUMP.

Course is a very nice course. The greens were excellent, fairways are brown which is to be expected since we haven't had rain in 40 some days. Nice place to play

To me it was to early in the season for the course to be dried up. The tee boxes were beat up, the fairways were extremely dry and the greens were like rock. It appears that they have stopped watering the course. Overall, still not a bad value for the money. The staff was extremely welcoming and my friend who made my breakfast was excellent. One of the easier courses I've played this season, because of the length. By know means am I a great golfer, but 8 pars is my career best.LOL. I will be back next season.

Severe drought. Fairways are gone but the green was good

It was in good shape. However, that was last year. Don't bother so many other good courses in the area.

Great design. poor conditions. The fairways were mostly mowed crab grass.

Staff was unprofessional, misinforming and arrogant.
The course is brown and the ground hard as a rock.

Booked through Golf Now, called the course asking how to add a 3rd player, clearly indicating if i should add 3rd player through Golf Now, staff member she could add him into system no problem same price. Day of tee time charged 3rd player FULL price and she denied that she would charge same as Golf Now price.
Manager indicated that with Golf Now prices he makes NO money.
I expressed my disappointment, I told him i would not play this course again and not recommend it to anyone else.
The manger said it was fine with him.

The douse was terrible. It looked as if it hadn't been watered in years. The greens were raw and brown. Luckily they cut the fairways but you couldn't tell where the fairway met the rough. I hit almost every fairway and my lies were terrible. Waste of money, waste of time, and oh yea, they have NO WATER. So bring tons of water to drink.

Nice course for the price.Greens were a little bumpy and on the slower side. Staff was friendly and helpful.. Pace of play for a Sunday (4Hrs.,20 min.) was very good. Will play again

Didn't rain for a few days, yet the greens were soaking wet. Many sprinklers were broken throughout the course causing my of the greens to be flooded. Most of the tee boxes need new sod because they are filled with crab grass. Staff was very friendly, and greens got better around the 16th hole which was about 10-10:30am. Overall, I would recommend it to a friend just make sure it is later in the day.

Played the course today in excellent weather. Great deal on Golf Now, no brainer! Last played here around 15 years ago. Tee time was at 12:08, the 3 other players I was paired with didn't show up. Course wasn't crowded and a lot of cancellations. Started out as a single, played through one group on third hole, hooked up with a 3 a few holes later. Course was in good shape for July in Jersey. Greens a little slower than I'm used to. Trying to get my game back and playing here helped me to enjoy playing golf again. Helping a new player helped me to swing again. I'll go back. good value also! The clubhouse is being renovated but still full service.

This was my foursomes first time playing this course, we have been moving around trying different courses. The price was fair $40 for 18 with a cart. As for the course it was very dry with plenty of crabgrass for this time of the year considering the weather has not been too bad this season. The tee boxes were very dry and hard the fairways were ok but the ruff was rather high not cut very recently. Most greens were in good shape but a few were less than desired. For our traveling around stint this has been the worst course we have played. I wouldn't recommend it for the conditions but the price was right and the pace was good we finished 18 in 3&1/2 hrs.

I've played Bunkerhill on several occasions over the last couple of years and without a doubt this course is trying very hard to attract and keep regular golfers- Course conditions were excellent well groomed greens and fairways And the staff is friendly and helpful -The prices are always competitive -And they even will offer a free lunch Thursdays No question, this is one of the best courses in the area --There's only one negative which is the reason I didn't give this course five stars they must, must, must get water available on the course

I heard mixed reviews from other golfers but course conditions were better then expected. I will definitely return.

Enough hills, slopes and trees to make the course interesting. Also, the water on the ninth and eighteenth holes makes for controlled drives and approach shots.
