I enjoy this course.
They have made drastic improvements that have improved the overall condition of the course. While all other local courses have been jacking up greens fees to unreasonable levels, they remain a good value for the money. Pace of play is sometimes back. There are no rangers to patrol the course and keep things moving. At non-peak times it is great. Overall a great value.
Almost got killed on the 11th hole
Greens are beat up. !We had a few younger gentlemen behind us. One guy was driving around with his music playing so loud behind us ridiculous on the 11th hole. He hit the ball over our heads ridiculous. He came up. I said your ball went over my head into the woods he says where’s my ball? Where is my ball? Was it a good shot? Ridiculous Younger gentleman should’ve apologize He was screaming and loud music there should be a ranger out there. All you had to do is say I’m sorry! not good. We played with another twosome. They were afraid they probably will never play there again. Should be a bell or something on that hole. These younger guys can drive it. I notified the pro shop with the email. This guy knew people there when he pulled up. He knew the starter ridiculous for them to let people like this play there. The two gentleman he was playing with said they didn’t know him and said he was acting up all day. we were teeing off on 18 he was on the 17th screaming and yelling when we were teeing off!!
NEVER AGAIN - The absolute worst!
Yes, our area has been a bit under some pressure with heat and lack of rain. And I have seen the distress on other courses, but this was the worst of the worst. Little to no grass on all holes. On top of that, diseased greens which had enough fur on them to be called Shag Carpeting.
A nice day at Bunker Hill
My friends and I went our for a friendly round of golf at Bunker Hill. We quite enjoyed ourselves as the pace of play was good and the course is nicely designed. The course could have been in better condition (a few tee boxes were either under repair or so hard you could not get your tee in the ground), but all in all it's is a nice place to play.
Great find
A friend recommended BH and I am glad he did. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The course was in great condition (apart from the 10th tee where there seems to be some trouble).
We played Monday 9:30 am and scooted around in 3 hours which was brilliant. Snack bar was very fairly priced. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable game of golf.
Greens are not looking good
I have played this course almost once a week for a month and this week the greens looked pretty bad. Not sure why in one week the greens deteriorated so much.
Greens were not kept up Some tee boxes were also hard
Great course to score well
I've played Bunker Hill several times. It can be hard to get early tee times on the weekends and it's much more expensive. However if you can withstand the heat, then playing mid day is the best for good deals and faster pace of play. What I love about Bunker Hill is that you don't need to use driver on every hole or at all for that matter and you will still score well. The course is fairly easy as long as you keep the ball in play and wisely pull the big dog out only when needed. Plan for your misses and this course you can go extremely low. It's the first course I ever broke 80 on and a year later I shot under par. If you are new to the game, this course will make it a little easier for you!
UN- FLEXIBLE STAFF
Staff were not flexible with the tee time. We had a tee time in the afternoon. We got there about an hour earlier because we thought they might let us out early because they have plenty of tee times before and there was nobody playing. It was hot too. The staff stated that since we got a hot deal from Golfnow they could not allow us to go out early. They said they don't make money of it. We had to come back 5 minutes before our tee times. Other golf courses would have allowed us to tee off early. Unacceptable reasoning.
