Valleaire Golf Club

The only thing nice about this course is the clubhouse. We paid $45 for an average, at best, course layout. Fairway looked like my back yard with the grass clippings included!

Owners: Step up your game. Start by picking up the grass when you cut it. People will pay your premium price for a premium product, however, this is not a premium product. Should cost $20 to play.

Nice course. Not much to it, pretty straight forward. Couple of dogleg holes and one hole with a tree in the middle of the fairway, but other than that, keep ‘em straight and you should score well here. Very nice finishing hole also. Par 3 over water.

I try to play new courses that has higher ratings but this course was the worse 4 star rating I’ve ever played. Would never play this course for more than $10. Course was in terrible condition. Layout is flat and back and forth. The staff was friendly but that was the only plus. Too many nicer courses for far less money.

Tough yardage from back tees. Overall course in nice shape. Needs a good cutting.

So who I assume to be the owner was clearly upset many people were cancelling because she was not allowing carts, obviously upset business is affected by the pandemic, even though the GolfNow app clearly states cart included with tee time, she said it should’ve said no carts. When I asked why not cart path only she got snarky and said don’t argue with me. We drove 30 minutes there so just went along and walked no reason we shouldn’t have been given the cart we paid for through GolfNow. When I saw pull carts I asked if I could use one then since no carts and she said yeah if I pay for it. Classic boomer completely brain dead to customer service, took her frustrated emotions out on customers, and the course was actually very nice but there’s plenty of golf in the area and they know how to treat customers, regardless if they got a GolfNow deal, or if business isn’t doing too hot.

Course and People are very Nice..... to make it better, maybe blow leaves off course, and have some signs for read tees, or a course guide for red tees... few hard to see and find, other than That, Great Course ....definitely be back

It’s been a few years since my last visit, but Disappointed overall at Valleiaire. Never a spectacular track, but very tired and worn out. Chewed up t boxes and bald spots all over the fairway. Late in the season, to be sure, but it appears that maintenance on the course has not been a priority this year. Unlikely to be returning at any price.

I paid $45 to play 18. I was then paired up with 3 others and played a 6 hour 18. I can play 18 by myself in roughly 2.5-3 hours depending on if people are in front of me. I was suppose to tee of on a sunday morning at 8:30 and didnt tee off till around 8:40-8:45 because 7 groups back to back to back were ahead of us being paired up into foursomes instead of just playing. Way to much waiting for the price that was paid. You pay $45 to wait for 4 hours and golf for 2 hours.

Very nice course! Greens & fairways were very good! Liked the layout! Fun to play! Sand traps very nicely managed! Very personable & accommodating staff. Will definitely play again!
