Fun course.
Play from a tee back off of your normal.
Trees and course layout can be challenging making the course fun and a food value.
The staff were polite and helpful.
Fun layout. But not worth the price or time.
I play here weekly and have noticed there is no new updated ratings here. So here goes.... the course is a fun easy and simple layout but course conditions are very poor for the simplicity of watering the course, greens are unforgiving and they are the slowest greens I have ever seen or played in my life. The greenskeeper needs to be fired or let go because his poor management. I refuse to play here.
Grip it and rip it.
When you go to play this course, be prepared to have an interesting round. If you keep it in play, you should be able to score well. If you don't, then it will test your true ability. Water, sand & tree's abound. The grounds crew does a good job of making it very playable and the facilities staff really makes you feel welcome.
Beautiful
Happy to get to play yet another course worthy of a trip when all construction is done than this place will be off the hook.
Very enjoyable all around great course
I have been to this course several times and each visit has been increasingly more enjoyable. The course is in great condition and the staff have always been welcoming and cordial. The improvements that they continue to make are a sign of their commitment to improve the quality of the experience for everyone. I highly recommend playing this course.
Perfect to boost your confidence
Excellent pace of play and great value. Perfect for beginners like my wife.
Continues to improve
Have played Valleaire forever. Interesting layout, reasonable length from back tees. Greens rolling well.
Hidden Gem for sure!
First of all, the staff was very accommodating, especially under the conditions with no clubhouse. The greens were fantastic and well maintained. Even had a snack bar at turn area with grilled dogs and cold beer! Great effort and beautiful layout of course.
Slow slow slow
I playes this course for the first time and will not play here again. It took almost 3 hours to play 8 holes. Left the course after 8. Not worth the $30 paid. Only thing I likes was the greens. Big and nicely maintained
Truly just adverage
Honestly, the course is ok if your just look to get out to swing a club and beat the ball around, but nothing overly memorable as far as a course, many holes seem to be exactly the same, with little challenge. Play was a bit slower with lots of tank top golfers as we expected it would be for the price. Clubhouse staff was friendly enough.
Lovely Staff. Horrible pace of play
Great folk, and super friendly staff.
Unfortunately, the pace of play was horrible, so bad we left and never actually teed off. We waited in the Cary at the first tee for 30 minutes after our prebooked tee time. The staff miss managed a shotgun event so badly that there was a pile up at the first tee and it would have easily taken 6 hours to play 18. The person at the desk (150 yards away from the first tee) was adamant that the course would clear out. He was clueless and impossible to reason with, without being unnecessarily confrontational.
My wife and I left and played 18 at Hinkley Golf Club...and had a lovely time there. We will not bother with Valleaire GC again.

Beautiful Day Good Round
Course in good condition only negative new clubhouse still not built. Most importantly overall course conditions for play were very good. I was here in April last and course very much improved for play now, Outside grill not open at course entrance today but food was available at lower outbuildings.
great time
Aside from being rained out... course was in good condition. Current renovation did take away some from experience at clubhouse and food, but course was great as usual.
Great Shape
The course was in great shape except for some tee boxes. The new clubhouse will be a great addition when they are finished.
Very fun course
It's tucked away real nice. No houses to worry about. Gives a lot of different looks. Some long par 4's. And has a nice finishing par 3 over water.
good golf course
course was good . first 9 holes are flat but second 9 had some challenges which was very good . Club house was under construction
Pleasant Sunday afternoon
Very playable course, a few interesting holes. Course played slow, fairways and greens could use a tighter cut...perhaps weather related. New clubhouse under construction should be nice when completed later this year. Nothing extraordinary good or bad
"A" for Effort
Course has great potential. Average right now, but can see effort to improve. New clubhouse being built. Must first stop at temporary clubhouse to check in and pay, then drive up to main parking lot. Overall, course in pretty good shape. Will definitely play it again.
Nice Course
The course was nice and moderately challenging. The greens played pretty true and where somewhat fast. This course will be great, once they get their New Club House and putting green completed. Some construction work around. Overall an excellent value.
