Great bang for your buck
For $18 plus fees for 18 holes at 10:30am it was great. Really can’t find cheaper golf anywhere else. Course was practically empty as well, I played as a subtle and had no problem with running into anybody, the one group I did catch up to was respectful and let me play through. If you’re looking for cheap golf on a pretty well maintained course, this is it.
Use a coupon!!
I am very thankful that Coupert found a coupon for this course. It saved me $25 for 18 holes. If I did not have that coupon, my rating probably would have been lower because the value for the money paid would not be good.
I am a relatively avid golfer, and this course reminded me of a course many years ago in Solon, OH that was considered "The Cow Pasture". I picked Pheasant Run because it was half way between us and our good friends who we played with. The greens and roughs played as if they only cut them at the beginning of the week. One of the greens on the front 9 (which is all we ended up playing) was half dead grass.
If we had played all 18, it might have been worth what we paid.
On a positive note, the beverages offered are a great price! And the staff was very friendly.
Bad course
Greens are bad more brown spots then green fairway and tees are fair don’t waste your money
Stay away
The greens were either half sand or 1” thick grass.
Non existent fairways, both fairways and rough is 3” long. Abosuletly terrible. Worst than dragon ranch before they closed. Will never be back.
Old course
Couse has seen better days was probably the spot in the 70s 80s and 90s. Greens not kept up. Fairways rough even with the hot deal felt like I paid too much.
Well, we’ll try anything once
Lots to say not enough time. If you never played before this would be a good course to try. Every corner of this course is in terrible shape… that’s all
Horrible course
Long horrible. grass and greens were like putting on thick long carpet. Dog caca course. Not even worth the $20.
Last minute.
Great course for a last minute round. Incredibly cheap for a full 18 with cart. With the proper care could be a great course but do not have high expectations. Tall grass, dead grass, terribly slow greens.
It’s better than it was in May.
Like previous reviews stated the course was in rough shape in May. I was told that Their main groundskeeper quit. I came back on Thursday to play and it was much better, I didn’t lose a single ball in the rough and they really had it cut down to playable length. The fairways are still a touch long and the greens are super soft which is kind of nice because if you skull a chip it might stay on the green. The price is fair for the quality.
Horrible course: not mowed in possibly 7 days. None of it. Pace so slow because of 2somes and 6somes(no starts for ranger) we left after 9.
It would only let me add 1 picture, I have more.
