Course Highlights
The Players Club at Foxfire earns high praise for its outstanding course layout, featuring challenging bent grass fairways, well-undulated greens, and strategically placed bunkers. Friendly staff and strong value make this a top choice among central Ohio public courses.

Foxfire Golf Club boasts 36 holes of championship golf, the Foxfire Course and the Players Club Course. The Players Club was added in 1993.The layout is a deft combination of traditional American golf and traditional British links design that provides the perfect complement to the original. The golf course is the more challenging of the two, but not by much. The layout features narrow fairways lined with trees and water hazards on eight holes. There are three particularly tricky carries over water. Strategically placed bunkers and contoured mounding also treacherously lurk by the greensides. The par-4 16th hole is the course's signature. This demanding hole plays uphill through trees to a green that is guarded by five bunkers. The most memorable hole though, might be the par-5 eighth, which features the longest sand bunker in the Midwest.

Beautiful/Tough course

You can't miss your mark and expect to put up a decent score. Not many straight puts and course will kick your butt if you don't focus on every shot.

This is a very nice course

Thi course is a very challenging course for any body that doesn't hit a fairly straight ball. The condition of the course was still trying to recover from the drought this summer.

This course is very playable and has a variety of challenges on it.

Even tho we were delayed on our start time because of frost in the morning they picked up the pace and we finished in 4 1/2 hours. The greens are varied in speed and type of grass so you can't get any comfort putting on them. Overall it was a good value for the money. Services are minimal.

Course was in terrible condition.

Seriously in need of some better grounds keeping. Fairways were burned out, whole tee-boxes where being replaced, very poor value, even at the discounted price.

Terrible Course Conditions

I frequently play this golf course. This course always has a tendency to put pins in unfair positions. However, this year has been the worse. I played with one member of this facility and he said "We got a new super this year, and his staff and him are putting the pins in positions that nobody knew were on the green." My other complaint is if you advertise yourself as a 4.5 star Golf Digest course, your course should be pristine all the way around. This is not the case, there are several burnt out areas in the fairways and some bunkers are manicured very nicely, others are basically like hitting off of asphalt.
