Course in rough condition.
Otherall a lot of dry and hard compacted spots throughout the course. The tee boxes are in terrible shape, hard enough where putting a tee down is near impossible on some. The fairways were okay, there were some spots that were dry, and anything in the rough had a chance to be completely dry or dead grass area.
Unfriendly/ unprofessional staff
I booked on golf now which was not a problem until I got to the course and the guy in the clubhouse was rude and told me I didn’t pay online after I showed him the confirmation email and showed him my app twice. Once he realized he was wrong he didn’t say anything other than okay and handed me a key. No apology,nothing.
Long day
5 hour round. Skipped last hole. 3 groups waitng to tee off. This has never happened to me here before. Hope it was just a fluke
Pleasant
Course was wet but that’s not their fault….got behind a women’s league and it started slow but some rain came and the ladies high tailed it outta there…after that it was smooth sailing staff was very nice course was in good shape
Blackbrook
They're improving this course all the time. It's a great place to golf.
Drains Well
Even though it had the previous night and that morning, the course was surprisingly not wet and conditions were ideal. This course is always in great shape and well-maintained.
Fall golf
Blackbrook Golf Course is in great condition. The fairways were lush and the greens fast.The city of Mentor has made many improvements and continues to do so. Great public course.
