Black Brook Golf Course & Practice Center

Great course to play, the staff is all very welcoming, friendly, and appreciative of their guests. The course is enjoyable, it’s challenging but open enough if you’re not a fairway golfer. I’d say the only complaint would be some greens had small patches of dead grass from decease or funguses that I’ve seen on many courses this year, overall it wouldn’t stop me from returning to play Black Rack again. I’ll be back again this year, even though I’m 50 miles away.

Blackbrook offers an amazing value and experience for the cost of the green fee. The course feels like home, especially the back 9. The par 5’s and long par 4’s are some of my favorite holes to play anywhere. They also have the best driving range in Lake County.

Played here since I was 8 years old. Great course. Super friendly staff and pros. Solid par 5s and nice layout. Smooth greens. Nice fairways. All around fun course for families and amateurs.

I was excited to play here after getting a great deal and my BF having a great experience in the past. Unfortunately, the staff was very unfriendly, there was no starter and things just seemed very unorganized. The front 9 was very slow as we were behind a couple and their small child, which ahappens, we are all for children learning to play. So we thought the pace would pick up at the turn when they dropped off. This was NOT the case as several groups of young guys were started in front of us in the back and things were super backed up. We didn't even end up being able to finish our 18 because the round was just taking far too long and groups stacking up.

Course was in great shape, staff is very friendly. Best golf course in Mentor Ohio!!!!

10/10 The city is doing great things here, the club house has beautiful flowers just put in! Everything looked great.

Awesome course. Tight fairways and a good assortment of differing hills and lies.

We had a great round of golf on a hot day! There’s lots of trees and shade along the way.

They’ve got to fix the boundaries for where the golf carts can go. It was awful. I’m by no means a great golfer, but when I’m just off the fairway and the golf cart starts beeping and I can’t go anywhere it’s was aggravating and annoying. I understand around the greens but in the first cut of the fairway? Terrible

Nice course, good price and maintained well. Great staff, specifically Polly on the weekends who is extremely nice even at 6 am for early bird tee times. Would recommend to anyone.
