About
Brown's Run Country Club in Middletown offers a championship layout that stretches to just over 6,830 yards. The team of William and Brian Gordon, brothers who have designed more than 85 golf courses all over the U.S., designed Brown's Run in 1958. It has a classic layout that is gentle enough for beginners, but it is an enjoyable round no matter what skill level. There are a few strategically placed sand traps throughout the golf course, which make up for the absence of water. The design is pretty straightforward although there are a few slight doglegs to watch out for. In addition to the challenging but playable design, the course boasts some of the finest fairways and greens in the area. Brown's Run also offers other amenities including an Olympic-size pool and four lighted tennis courts.

A gem
Brown’s Run is a definite must play! The course is a true gem and a ton of fun to play. I can’t wait to take it on again!
Great Course
Brown's Run is one of the best kept secrets in the Region. The course is challenging, fair and a great value. Although it was still winter, it's obvious that they are serious about keeping it pristine. I found the conditions exemplary for February and can't wait to play it during prime weather months later this year.
Great Course
Unbelievable conditions for winter in Ohio. Staff was friendly. Course layout was decent, not really much to it. Signs for next tee box would be nice as the paths crisscross and even go across the street a couple times, but other than that, would happily play again.
Hidden gem
Second time I played the course and really enjoyed it both times. Course was in great shape. Greens rolled perfect. Layout and yardage from white tees is a challenge which I enjoy.

This course is 39 miles away . Glad I made the trip ..Greeting in club house awesome . Course conditions amazing from tee to green . Course length tee boxes for all levels of players . Played from 5600 yds . No tricks just keep it in play . Greens slope front to back on many holes ... . I will play again .

Fairways were soft. Tee boxes weren’t full of divots. People actually repair ball marks on the greens. Great course!
