About
Brown's Run Country Club in Middletown offers a championship layout that stretches to just over 6,830 yards. The team of William and Brian Gordon, brothers who have designed more than 85 golf courses all over the U.S., designed Brown's Run in 1958. It has a classic layout that is gentle enough for beginners, but it is an enjoyable round no matter what skill level. There are a few strategically placed sand traps throughout the golf course, which make up for the absence of water. The design is pretty straightforward although there are a few slight doglegs to watch out for. In addition to the challenging but playable design, the course boasts some of the finest fairways and greens in the area. Brown's Run also offers other amenities including an Olympic-size pool and four lighted tennis courts.

Couldn’t of been happier with the course as a whole. Now I just need to find some better playing partners;) looking forward to coming back!
Courtesy Call Would Be Nice
Course didnt notify players that the course was closed til 3pm due to rain. Poor look for the course.
Where’s the water.
I’ve played this course several times and belong to a league at the course. They never refill the water jugs on the course. This last time they didn’t even have water to sell in the pro shop and they have never had a person who drives around the course offering to sale beverages. With the extreme heat that could cause a potential issue with someone passing out from heat exhaustion. Lastly take care of the ball washes too.

First time playing this course.Greens were very fast and in good condition.Fairways & tee boxes were good. Rough was not too difficult except around the greens. There it was much longer and thick. If you like dogleg holes you’ll like this course
Fantastic shape!
Course was in great shape from tee to green. Greens were a little slow for my liking but that is being nit-picky. Nice layout that requires both decent distance and shot shaping. Multiple sets of tees make this a good course for multiple skill levels
Great course
If you like playing cousre with a lot of doglegs then this is your course. This course was in great condition. Also there are no water hazards.
How Have I Lived in the Area 27 Years and Never Played Here?
The title says it all. Great conditions, good price, more challenging than it appears at first glance. Don't take too much club on 18.
Hidden Gem
I had heard good things about this course and was thrilled when I actually got to play it. Course was in excellent shape and has a really nice layout. Greens were a little slow but that is really just nit-picking. Definitely will go back and play again sometime!
Slowest round ever
Course was ok except traps are terrible. Pace of play was a ridiculous 5 hr 20 min with NO RANGER. Long drive from Cincinnati to be disappointed. I would not recommend playing this course.
