Excellent
You get more than what you pay for. I drive an hour and a half to play here about once a month. Everything about this place is on point.
Gem
I was pleasantly impressed with the overall condition of the course and the layout was challenging. Played the Blue tee box and the par 3’s were killers including one that was 257 yards You can tell that it was once a Country Club Highly recommended
Great Course
I enjoy Snow Hill! It is a challenging track with some severe undulating greens. In order to score your approach shot will need to be accurately placed to have a reasonable putt for birdie or par. The staff is friendly and accommodating. What I like about the course is the solitude. The fairways are not lined with homes. Give it a try it’s worth the drive.
Worth the trip
A ways for me to travel, but I’ll do it again. Fun layout. From the blues, includes a 600+ yd par 5 and a 245 yd par 3 which were fun. Some burnout in some fairways, but bentgrass was in great shape overall. Staff was out sanding divots! Well done, staff. (Wish golfers would do that!). Greens were running great.
Lots of waiting
My buddy and I played this course a few days ago and waited at least 5 minutes on every shot on the back 9. The course is in pretty good condition but it’s unenjoyable when you are backed up every shot. This could of easily been avoided with a worker controlling pace of play. Also, the golf carts need some work as they are very outdated. And then to top it all off, our cart ran out of gas on the 17th hole and we had to carry our bags the rest of the round. Not a good first experience
It was over an hour drive to play this course but it was well worth it. A few of the fairways and greens were not in great shape but overall fantastic course. Will definitely be back.
Great Course
A real challenging course with quick greens. I always enjoy playing this course!
Phenomenal Greens
Great challenging short course. Tough par 3s. No really easy holes except maybe 3. The greens are always phenomenal. Nice variety of shapes and design. Some really big breakers if you miss in the wrong spot, but great for spinning approaches. Tons of fun if you love to putt.
