Snow Hill Country Club

Nice layout, awesome fairways. Pretty hard for first time play. Hidden views on some greens that make for challenging play. Very much enjoyed and will be back.

Having long time buds many miles away can provide some logistics challenges. However when all agree to split the distance, this will provide a course which neither of you would have an opportunity to play. This is what Snow Hill provided for us. It is always scary to drive a distance to a course you have never played for fear of a pasture. This is not the case at Snow Hill and definitely worth the drive and we will possibly on a regular annual basis.

We love playing this Course! Beautiful layout! Great staff! Good food! It's Haunted! Everything you want! Highly recommended!

Snow Hill is by far my favorite course that I play in the area. Great layout, great conditions, and very challenging greens to put on. What more could you ask for. Fantastic course.

The course is well maintained. The clubhouse is very nice. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes were the nicest I've played in the greater Dayton area, and I have played more than half the courses over the past couple years. The course was very challenging with more than the average amount of dogleg left fairways, and hardly any of the greens were flat.

I have been eyeing this course since last year and finally was able to play. This is one of the most beautiful golf courses in the central Ohio.

No one should play it because all they'll do is slow me down. PlAyed 27 in 4.5 hours. Awesome!!!!!

Excellent golf course! Very well maintained and magnificent layout!

Neat old layout, uphill, downhill, side hill lies. Nice greens with plenty of undulation. Plays longer than the yardage from the tips. I like old courses and this is a great one! Be sure to play it if you have the chance!

Lots of variety in hole to hole layout. Couse in pretty good shape considering a very wet April. Greens provide a real challenge to read and score well.

All I can say, it is well worth the drive. About an hour from my house, but worth every minute of it. Conditions were fabulous, even for November. I cannot say enough great things about Snow Hill.

Course was in great shape for this time of year

As I play golf courses around the world, I have a fairly good perspective of golf value. Snow Hill is in the top 10!

Though the course is not overly difficult, it is long, and this makes it a forgiving. As a result,, the pace of play is superb.

The staff are as good as I've ever met. Perhaps because the owner is hands-on and involved. He was willing to take time to chat and talk about the amazing history of the course and farm-house remodeled into a world class club house and bed-and-breakfast, cozy bar and dining nook.

The facilities are second to none! The locker room, bar, and club house are better than most, and good enough to visit without golf. The food is amazing - it is smoked on sight!. The main facility a renovated 1700's farm house, and I mean remodeled.

Oh, and I was not asked, reimbursed, or otherwise incentivized to post this review.

And I actually did not want to post this review. Why? Because when those in Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati discover it, they will descend upon it.
