About
Opened in 1923, Madison Country Club is one of the oldest courses in the area. It has a traditional design that measures to a modest 6,145 yards from the back tees. The golf course may be short by modern standards but this member-owned course has been a local favorite since it first opened. The classic layout has wide, player-friendly fairways that offer plenty of room and the terrain is mostly flat, making it a good golf course to walk. There are a few mature trees scattered throughout and you'll also come across some strategically placed bunkers as well. Madison Country Club is ideal for beginners but it's also a great round of practice for more advanced players. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range and short-game area at the club.

GREAT GOLF
Great Golf experience. Course and Staff.
Will play again.
Great staff
The staff is super nice and helpful. Course was in good shape - especially the greens. 4somes were slow but allowed me to play through so no complaints. Would play there again, but always leery about getting stuck behind someone.

Had just rained the day before. Course drained great. Greens are in great shape. They are really stepping g up their game this year.

Some love
Exceptional challenging course..
Some greens could use some love. Some cart paths too. some dirt paths with tree root speed bumps. Club house isn’t anything inviting to have a post play cocktail in. Bathrooms are beyond dated…
GPS in the carts would be a nice upgrade.
But! As far as golf, the course play I’d rate it as a 8.8 outta 10

Professionalism
I lost a head cover at some point throughout my round. About an hour after I left, Amy at the pro shop called me and said she had it turned in. She did not have to call me, but out of kindness she did. She showed a level of care and professionalism that people just don't see these days. Made my day. Thanks Amy!. Great course and great conditions, will come back again.
