Willow Run Golf Course
About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Not bad for the price.
The course has a nice layout with some challenging holes. Course was in okay shape. By far the worst golf carts I have ever seen. The main draw is that it is conveniently located for me and it is low cost.
willow Run doesn't disappoint
Definitely worth $20-25
Cart paths could use a little work but tee boxes and greens were great. We have had a lot of rain but they are cutting the grass non stop and they are controlling the weeds! Food and service was great.
Very Good Course but.......
Challenging course. We got a good deal via online. Pace of play was excellent but I am unsure how much that had too do with course management because we saw zero rangers patrolling the course. Challenging course - some of the greens had an excess of sand making putting even more challenging. The golf carts are from the 1960s and the brakes are something akin to the Fred Flintstone braking systems. All and in all a good course and it will challenge the weekend golfer.
Fun round
I enjoyed playing willow run. The course set up seems to really maximize the area the course is laid out on and provide lots of interesting shots for golfers. Many of the approach shots require shaping or carrying the creek, a bunker, or a tree. The elevation changes make things more interesting too. I wouldn't call this course difficult, but it's definitely not easy. It's definitely a place where a novice can feel comfortable taking danger out of play but a more skilled player can have fun. I will continue to play at Willow Run.
great golf
willow run is a great course to play,it always is.
Great course and even better staff
The course is in great shape . The stream that runs through the course is always a challenge. teamed up with 2 other singles and had a great round. only negative was very slow, busy course on wednesday afternoon.
Course in great shape on Sunday
Played Sunday AM, the clubhouse did a good job of spacing the groups and there was minimal waiting. The course was in really good shape, definitely rewarded by keeping it in the fairway. A couple greens had unfixed marks but most of them were in good shape. For the price we found on GolfNow (<$25), it was a great bargain and I'd play it again.
Willow Run
I have passed this course many times. I decided to give it a try with one of the Hot Deals. I was pleasantly surprised. Very nice place to play with some challenging holes. I will definitely be back.
Enjoyable day even with a packed course.
A beautiful Sunday following a dreary Saturday is a certain formula for a busy golf course.
Kudos to the groundskeepers for keeping the course in very good playing conditions.
Too bad so many golfers forget to repair ball marks-otherwise the greens were in decent shape for this time of year.
Tricky Course
Played this course after a night where the area recieved upwards of 2 inches of rain. Conditions as you would expect were wet. Course is tricky and you definetly need someone who has played it before to tell you where to hit it and not hit it. This is a thinkers course. Cant get up there and blast away, must be able to shape shots, but is lots of fun! I shot 75 making two doubles
rain check
Told us they could not give us a raincheck since webooked the tee time on golf now, i had to argue with the guy for five to ten minutes then he agreed to give us a nine hole raincheck. I felt like he was not very friendly and I shouldnt have to argue just to get something that I was already owed.
Course good golf cart bad
The course was in pretty good shape. The greens were a little choppy. The golf carter had felt like it was going yo fall apart overall not a bad round and the course wasn't bad and pace was great.
Great value
Despite a great deal if rain the night prior, the course was in great shape.
Nice
Nice course and the greens were in great shape. There's nothing much more to say but I can't submit this unless I have more lines. So I'll aimlessly continue to type. I'll be back soon
Very Good Condition
Excellent value at the $10 hot deal. Worth every penny. Course is in great condition. Back 9 is tougher than the front 9. Very good layout. Can't wait to play again.
Favorite Course in Cbus at this price
To play a round under $20 here is absolutely incredible. The greens and fairways were immaculate and the greens rolled true. There were hardly any dead spots (problem with most courses around Columbus) and every part of the course was well taken care of. Watch out for the little river that runs through most fairways. Makes you think about each shot instead of just blasting away!
Unreal
Everything was great until the 15th hole and we ran into an outing that they shotgun started on random holes on the course. So the last 3 holes took over an hour to play. If they knew there was going to be an outing they should not have let people out there before so they would get stuck behind them. Overall it was a nice course and a good price. I will go again, I will just make sure there is no outings going on.
A great day
Course in great shape, and place of play was good.
Great value for the money!
