About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Great weekday round
We had great weather, the course in great shape for getting close to end of season, we only had to wait the last couple of holes, and it was fun time with my little one there.
Dissapointed
The condition of the course was surprisingly poor. I played after a high school event, had I known that I would not have played that day.
Nomirewillow
I found the course was a little short. Traps for the most part in great shape. Slope for this course is over rated more like a 110 rather than 125. Hole to tee box distance could be dangerous. Holes sometimes were too close for comfort. Heard some good things. For the limited times I get out, I will look elsewhere. This would be a great older retirees track.
Jack Kidwell
Nice course. It's true about the horrible cart paths. Because they stink everyone just drives where ever they want. One or two flys were messing with me but not bad. In great shape for not having rain in awhile. Oh yeah......the sand bunkers were horribly maintained.
Drivers dream
many of the holes sets up nicely for long drives
Good Value
Good value for the money. Proshop allowed me to start off the back 9 to avoid a fewer slower groups that just started the front. Solid layout and course was in good shape. Only issue was when a mower drove through the tee box while I was already tee'd up a waiting to hit.
Willow Run
This is a short course that is not overly challenging. Pace of play was excellent at under four hours for my foursome.
Nice course
The course is nice, not too difficult. It was in nice condition, but the pace was slow. There are no Rangers that I saw; without someone to move people along, it only takes one slow group to hold everyone up.
KEPT IN GOOD SHAPE- COUPLE Things though
This course is very easy to get to right off of 161 and 310. If you get there EARLY and beat the rush you will have an enjoyable round. They keep the course in very good shape and for the Golf Now prices it's really a steal! Couple holes just have 1 big annoying tree right in front of you in the middle of the fairway... Also there is a small ditch or creek that flows through a majority of the holes around the 180-230 yard mark. Making it very hard to hit a good drive and be in a little creek or be right in line with a big tree although you stripped it down the middle. After all is said and done this is a course I play frequently and would recommend to any friend or colleague.
Very fun country course.
I have played it many times and always enjoy it.
Yardages
Overall, this was a great round of golf and the course was in good shape. The cart paths need quite a bit of work as it was treacherous getting certain places. There is a creek that runs through pretty much the entire course and my only issue was having no idea how far off the tee that creek is. This resulted in drivers in the water and unnecessary short irons off the tee. Other than that, I was pleasantly surprised by this course, especially the pace of play on one of the first nice days of the year.
Golf in December
The staff was friendly and knowledgeabe. The course was in great shape and the green were the best I have seen this fall. I would recommend this golf course to all my friends. Was a fast paced and enjoyable round of golf. Who wouldn't enjoy a round of golf on December 16th.
Good value
Played Willow many times. Has been a good price and average conditions each time.
good place for anyone to play.
Great value, but...
Nice course, good condition for early November, but they had already put away the tee markers for the year and the tee boxes needed mowed one more time. Very hard for my wife to find the ladies tees. Overall, I liked the course and it was a great deal with the GolfNow Hot Deal. I don't like the blind creek that runs across the landing area of your tee shots on 17 & 18.
Shorter course
Shorter course but some challenging holes. Hit irons off of a lot of holes. Pace of play was good and the staff was very friendly. Would for sure return to play.
