Willow Run Golf Course
About
Willow Run Golf Course was designed by a ubiquitous name in central Ohio, Jack Kidwell. The local designer played a role in creating many of the state's courses but he infused a different character into each. Willow Run has an interesting layout that will test your shot making skills as well as your course management capabilities. The greens are bentgrass and the fairways are accented with Ohio bluegrass. Correct placement off the tees is the key to doing well, especially on the front nine. Plenty of water comes into play throughout the golf course as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Willow Run's back nine boasts one of the most challenging par 4s in Ohio, the 13th. The green on this tricky hole is fronted by a meandering creek.

Great Value Course
Willow is the best value around! I don’t want to share that too loud or it will get crowded. However, it is well groomed and maintained and a course you can actually afford to play! I sure hope they can keep the rates low while all others are through the roof. The clubhouse is nothing fancy but a great place to grab some turn or post round snacks & beverages. Pro shop has everything you might have forgotten or just decided you needed! Only gripe I would have are the cart paths are in dire need of repair. I get it though, repair the paths and my rates go up. So, I’m ok just slowing down and adding taking the strategic route to your next shot. Most sand traps have playable sand, unlike many courses. Again, another cost I understand. Definitely enjoy playing this course!
Will Run July 2025
Great Value Course. Greens and Fairways in good shape for the value on the weekend rate of just over $40. Has a few difficult holes due to the placement of trees. I would play it a little differently next time due to some small streams popping up over hills that we did not know were there. Have a range finder but no real visible 150 or 100 yard markers to get general distance. Par threes were challenging from the Blues as they were all at least 165 yards to pin. i would play again. Staff was awesome and concessions are very reasonably priced.
Great fun
fun track…scoreable for moderate golfers…fun with friends and side games. Staff and course were both great.
Great value
Good course, great staff. Pretty decent pace of play for a crowded Sunday morning. The snack bar has the best Coney dogs in the city.
Good course just wish there was at least a way to buy somthing to drink.
Pretty good course for value but I wasent thrilled about not being able to purchase anything to drink. I thought there would at least be a vending machine or a water fountain being 90+ degrees out but went into club house and asked if there was a way to buy any drinks. Nota.
Be aware of the different water streams and enjoy it
It is a golf course that is a good value for the money.
Very wet when we played
For the all the rain that the area received the 2 days prior the course was in good shape. The greens were rolling pretty well with all the rain. I would recommend this place for anyone for the price.
Course conditions.
Cart path must be repaired.
Greens and bunkers are fine. But A lots damages on fairways.
Staff is so rude
Played the course my whole life even high school golf. Went to book a tee time and wanted my 6year daughter to play with us and the guy said “are you sh….. me” I’ll never play here again. Not a good place to take you family
You get what you pay for
I have not complaints. The price was great, and we played without any ussues. The cart and cart paths were not in the best shape, but did work. All and all, i have no issues and will be playing there again.
