Cumberland Trail Golf Club

I never type up messages when leaving reviews but this course absolutely deserves it. Without a doubt one of the best public golf courses in the Columbus area and probably the whole state of Ohio! A steal for $32.

Cumberland trails golf course is a nice track and in good condition. The greens were a little fast and challenging which was just fine..

Don’t let the yardage for you as the course is sufficiently challenging and provides enough diversity in hole design and distance.

I found the 163 yard par three #7, on the front nine To be particularly challenging and seem to be playing a bit longer then the published distance.

Very friendly staff and course was in great shape

I know it was early in the year and maybe a ranger wasn’t available to manage the pace of play issues

Just possibly in May or June there could be a course ranger to help keep slower players moving or simply educate slower players to allow better players to play through

In these times it’s hard to feel ok golfing as in the golf course conditions (greens a little slow bare spots here and there not much )weren’t up to par but under the circumstances and weather (WET)Ohio is having it’s what it . A slow group holding up the few on the course was a downer until we went around after a short delay from the weather (rain)al in all play this course it’s the real deal Holyfield

Good course to play, little wet as expected, ball doesn’t roll well sometimes on the greens.

I didn't know this course was public until I saw it on GolfNow. This course has all of the perks of a private club (well kept course, great restaurant, etc.) with a great value. Definitely give this place a try if you haven't yet!

There is no Marshall riding around keeping the pace of play going. No drink cart on a very hot day, but this course is really close to being a very good course. The greens roll really good. the fairways where in good shape.

It was a great day. Sunshine not too hot and no one behind us. Just excellent timing

1st time playing in 2 years. Course was in good shape.

New sand in Green Side bunkers. Fairway bunkers still are need of more sand, but they are taking care of them. Overall very nice facility with upgrades to clubhouse. Great course and 5 sets of tees should make it enjoyable for any type of player. It's good to finally play a course in the area that is not skimping on maintenance.

Use to be a member. Let my membership discontinue as the course was always in good shape but I was always apologizing for the bunkers to my playing partners. That's been 2 years ago. Thought I would try it again under new ownership. Again , course and greens were great. Couldn't play out of the fairway bunkers. Horrible! New owner is more interested in home development than making the course worth $50 per round on the weekend. To many courses are near by for less money. No thanks!

Scheduled a late afternoon 9 holes, hoping to catch the course when it wasn't busy. However there were other like minded players. Around the 6th hole it backed up. However we still finished in good time. Their staff was friendly and helpful.

Cumberland Trail has been undergoing an upgrade the last 10-12 months l traps getting redone , new sand and better maintenance . Greens are better than past few years while eyes and fairways getting more attention. It is user friendly to all stages of golfers , from seniors, women and top rate college players with several tee sets at all distances . The inside staff in grill room is top rate as the shop staff are friendly and accomodating . It's a great weekday value at anytime .
