Very nice course
This was a very nice course especially for the price. We played here from out of town so this was a first for myself and my group. The courage was mostly positive but we did get a sour taste right off the bat. We lined up at the first tee box (we were playing a 4 person scramble) and immediately was waiting for the 2 person group ahead of us. That wasn’t the problem. The problem came when a group of 6 guys came in behind us and started pushing the starter to come tell us to play faster. So the starter came up to us, he was very respectful, but informed us that the group behind us were “very good hitters and they are itching to tee off”. Mind you, we were just about to hit our third shot on the first hole. We aren’t fantastic golfers by any means but our scramble group typically ends a round at +1. Being pushed that early into the round made us feel very rushed and took a lot of the fun out of our afternoon. Everybody does reserve the right to golf, I just wish there was some push back from the course as well being that we were only on the hole for a total of 8 minutes. Otherwise, very fun coarse to golf at
Race Track - Not Greens
The greens are very fast. They are also well moand run true to the read.
The course staff are some of the friendliest and n town.
The traps are full of sand and maintained. A lot of courses in Columbus don’t maintain or keep sand in their traps.
If you play there, it will be obvious the staff and crew work hard to make your experience worth the money.
Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing Cumberland Trail Golf Club.
Great track
Loved playing here as a first timer… will have to come back when it is calmer and my game is sharper

Fun Course to Play
Course was in excellent shape. We always enjoy playing there a couple times per year. Fun course to play. Challenging, but not extremely difficult! I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to play a course in nicer shape than most public courses.
Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing Cumberland Trail Golf Club.
Best Course in the Columbus area
The design and condition of this course has always been a favorite of mine but I can comfortably put this one at the top of my rankings in the Columbus area. The grass here is healthier than any public course around and with the new renovations to several bunkers on the property it feels like you have a real test. Greens are too pure for mid spring in Ohio, I don’t know how they maintain them so well. It’s a must play in the central Ohio area.
Wow! We are so happy you enjoyed your round, Jarret9376824! We look forward to seeing you again soon at Cumberland Trail Golf Club.
Good course, but.....
I enjoy playing Cumberland Trail (good layout, good greeens, etc) but dealing with their membership is the reason I don't plan to play there again.
For the second time now, I signed up as a single (new to the area) on a weekend morning. Of course, when I signed up I was paired with a threesome. When I showed up at the starter, the members I was paired with decided they fidn't want to play with me.
The member was standing next to the starter when I arrived and said, "Are you the single? You're not playing with us so you need to get moving to the first tee and get out of the way."
To say that it's frustrating to play as a single on a busy morning full of foursomes in front of you is an understatement.
If this were the first time it happened, I would have played it off as one member being rude. But now that it's happened again in a short period of time, I recognize it's a regular thing for members to dictate things there.
I want to pay someplace where I'm treated like a paying customer and not a nuisance.
