Once a really nice course
Lots of damage from carts as the course stayed open to make money during rainy times to make money. Greens are smooth but very slow. Pro shop has no control over pace of play on the course. People cutting in front of you is a common occurrence. This used to be one of the really nice courses in the area. Sad to see it go down hill. Good luck to the course superintendent, he's gonna need it.
Wet
Course was very wet - compared to other courses in the area. Will try again when we have better weather. Saw lots of dandelions and clover throughout the course. Greens aren’t very good either
This is a very challenging course
The course was in fair condition due to all the rain we have had in the past week. I cant wait until the middle of summer when the course is in better shape
Decent for start of season
Course was ok shape considering the time of year. Price to play seemed too high and was VERY SLOW pace. Pace gas always been slow at this course.
Good course but
Well laid out. I like that they have electric carts and ball cleaner stations at multiple holes. The 3 times I have been there the staff is sub par though.
Nice course
I was in town for a couple of days and found a great rate and really enjoyed a round here with my son. Front 9 is a bit more open and forgiving., You can score here if you keep the ball in play. Came close to a hole in one on the 200 yard par 3 on the front. We played in 3:40 and there were two threesomes ahead of us. Greens were in decent shape and held approach shots. I’ll play here again if back in town.
Slow
Typically I go to Heather Downs a couple times every summer. I’ll still the time it is so full that the pace is about four hours for 18 holes. Consider other options if you have less time. Otherwise, sit back, relax and enjoy an afternoon!
Pleasantly surprised
Was surprised at the good condition of the course, considering all the rain we have had recently, and the pace of play was good for as many people that were on the course.
Great course. Excellent value
Enjoyed playing this course. Only issue was a foursome ahead of us playing very slow
Too much wait time
As usual, everything was backed up. Tee time started 15mins late and after 3.5 hrs I finished #11 and left.
