In great shape
Fairways were so green!! I could not believe it. Just wish they would so something behind the 15 green.
All Around Great Course
It was my first time playing this course and I was not disappointed. The faculties were very nice and the staff was very friendly. From a course perspective it was a nice challenge. The grounds were very well kept. Every hole presented a different challenge and really put my skills to the test.
Great layout, great conditions, incredible value
Played here for the first time today. Incredible value and the layout/conditions were far beyond my expectations. Greens were in good shape, each out had a unique layout and elevation was used to great effect. Pace of play was great- they didn’t try to stiff tee times like other courses around NE Ohio seem to do. Planning to come back at my next opportunity
Course in good shape
The greens were well maintained and the fairways and rough were more than acceptable for the amount of rain in the past week. Overall, pace of play was good as I was able to play 18 in 3 hours as a single. Although a few groups let me play through, the most I waited on a hole was 5 minutes. The tee boxes were cut short and the greens were firm, but not outrageously fast.
Nice course
Well kept. Fun to play. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend playing this course.
Could use mowed.
This course needed mowed. Fairways were not mowed in days and the tough was like US Open tough. We had balls in the rough we hard s hard time finding. People let us play through but a lot of groups were slow. I know we play fast but lots of groups must have been their first time out.
Well maintained and fun to play
Coppertop is not a long course or a difficult layout. But the greens are very firm and a challenge to hold and 2 putt. Therefore, not easy to score. Fairways are in great shape and surprisingly not very wet. I enjoy this course a lot and the green fees are a very good value. However, as in too many golf courses, the club house and course staff usually look and act like they would rather be somewhere else.
Staff is very nice and welcoming
Not a huge issue, but and probably a good thing but we had back ups constantly until we got to back nine...then it cleared up again. Granted this was a weekend too...
Had a great time!
Fun place to play, we had a great time, the course was in great shape and the greens and tees were immaculate
Slow, Slow, Slow
The pace of play here was ridiculously slow. I mean you expect the course to be crowded with the amount $ for the round. But when you're waiting minimally 10 minutes for each shot, and tee box it wasn't worth it. There was no starter to set when groups could go off, and no one from the staff checking if people were keeping up pace. I've been going to Coppertop for years, and haven't seen the course like this. I don't usually write reviews, but how slow, and frustrating the round was, I don't think I will be going back.
