It is a difficult course, but it is very well maintained. everything is perfect!

Fairways wet, but very playable.

Greens were excellent. Very quick and true. Much better than expected for this early in the year. Driving range(iron range) ,practice green , grille and halfway house all closed. Come prepared with own food and drinks.

Bunker sand excellent too.

Course was in great shape for November and got a good price $105 on golf now , better than the usual $170 rip off

I really wish the course would have notified customers that the greens were aerated because I would have chosen to play another course. And the pace of play was abysmal as well. You have been warned…

I've played this course many times over the years, having been in a league at the course for a couple years. Course layout is great. Some really challenging holes. This particular day the greens were aerated so it wasn't the best of circumstances. Otherwise conditions were fine.

The price I paid is the top limit I would pay at this course. During the summer the prices rise as high as 190 per round. It's a great course but that's over-priced in my opinion. For the conditions on Sunday when I played the price should have been $89 - a more appropriate fee for greens that were aerated. Definitely a course you should play but look for off-season rates to avoid paying to dollar.

It was a cold, windy day when I played, and the greens were impressively fast - private club fast, probably rolling around a 10 or 11.

Course is in nice condition, and interesting strategically, but my biggest complaint is I feel it’s overly penal. It’s not the most playable course, and if you’re having an off day, you’ll lose many golf balls. It’s not really an appropriate course for weak golfers. Main reason I think it’s a 4 star course instead of 5. I also wish the driving range could be renovated… it’s really in poor shape.

But all in all, it’s a beautiful course and offers a solid test for the lowish handicap golfer.

Troon has done a great job restoring and improving conditions at MR - which was totally mismanaged previously by American Golf. The course is a superb design by Jack Nicklaus and is now is excellent shape. About the only suggestion I could make would be to please put back the water dispensers on certain holes and ball washers on all of the tees. There is really no reason for these to be missing.
