Good Course, Shorter than most

No complaints honestly. From out of town and found a tee time on golf now that worked with our schedule. Booked not knowing anything before hand. Course was in great shape. Greens were excellent and rolled true. Paid about what I would expect for this course. Staff was friendly the little we dealt with them. Didn't know this when booking, but Pecan Valley is much shorter of the two courses. Lots of par 3s and 4s, and only two par 5s total. Playing from the tips the course still seemed short overall. We enjoyed ourselves though and had a fun round with nobody in front or behind us!

Fun Course, Pecan Valley

Pecan Valley is one of two 18 hole courses at Mohawk Park.

Front 9 of Pecan Valley at Mohawk Park is a First Tee course with four par 3s and five par 4s. Back 9 is a normal layout. Played short with a par 68. Lot of short irons.

Greens are Bermuda, I believe and much quicker than I expected. Awesome condition.

Staff was great, beverage cart not only available but reasonable, Grill in club house had a very good cheeseburger and fries with free refill on soft drinks.

Fun afternoon, will definitely be back.

short

Definitely a shorter course with par 68 but it still causes you to hit good shots into the green. The mrs really enjoyed it as being a new player for only a year....she had quite a few pars and ended up with a good score.

Shorter course, driver isn't needed on most every hole

Shorter of the two mohawk courses. Plenty of holes that require you to make sure you hit a good first shot and set up for a good second shot to the green. Course is in pretty good shape except for many of the sand traps. Enjoy this course and sets up for a low score.
