Reviews
Very Challenging
we played on a cool winter day. The course was not busy at all. Tee boxes are well kept, fairways are well maintained with lots of slopes to contend with. Greens are in good shape and very fast, many greens are pitched to make them tricky. We enjoyed our day on Stone Creek.
Get it back in the shape like it was when George Glen manage their. Billy Caspar mgnt just ran both Page golf and Mohawk golf courses into the ground.
There is no one in charge with any since of USGA RULES. Letting three play out of one bag or letting a group of 6 play both illegal. When talking to staff you can see they have no clue what your talking about. You know the golf rules. Lafortune and Southlakes got it figured out!
Stone Creek Review
Fun day and great value. Greens very good and fairways good. We have had little to no rain in month. Played in 3:20 minutes in the afternoon.
Greens are Awful
This used to be the best local public course. No longer. Went to Bermuda greens and they suck. Bumpy, irregular and under-watered. Also huge sections of fairway that were bare. No bueno
Hard greens
The only negative thing to say about this course were the greens are like trampolines staying on was near impossible. Other than that I loved the course as always
Greens need more attention
Greens need water, way to firm, a divot tool is never needed.
Course has undergone renovations and is finally super playable and enjoyable again. I played here twice in the past two days and had great experiences. The greens were extremely fast from the sun and the rough is thick but a fun course to play.
THEY SHOULD MADE US AWARE
We booked our Tee time only to arrive and find out that they had two temoporary greens and that the back 9 was cartpath only. Since it was very warm cartpath only was too much for our wives so they only playerd 9 holes. I am just geting over surgery. s we had know ahead of time we would have booked the other course. The Greens are in geat shape and it is going to be much improved when they finish renovations but for now UGH
Course was under maintenance throughout round with loud machinery and unplayable grounds. Greens were covered in sand. Several groups were directed to stop their game to move to another course, creating a backup of several groups, having four groups on one hole at times. Staff was unapologetic and offered no refund or discount.
Never going back
9 holes for $45? No thanks… driving range was closed. Management was rude. Paid $30 for two sleeves of Callaway Crome soft.
Not going back
Management was rude and lied to us about a group teeing off with us who had already checked in. Back 9 was closed, driving range was closed, but they decided to let us know right after the $45 green fee. Paid $30 for two sleeves of callaway crome soft. Played 13 holes in 4 hours then left. Won’t return. Go to Southlakes if you want to play a public course.
Paid for 18 got 9
I paid for 18 holes when booking it said 18 holes and was never told by staff the back 9 holes were shut down. I was very upset that I paid for 18 holes and after the front nine went to 10 and it was shut down.
Good time
Always a good time playing either of the Page Belcher courses.
Good value course
This course had great pace of play (4hrs on the button on the weekend), friendly staff, and it's a great value.
The greens were incredibly bumpy and there are a lot of barren areas near fairways, in fairways and around the green where grass should be.
