Riversedge is an enjoyable challenge
Riversedge is a very enjoyable challenge. The front nine has a lot of variety with a lot of vertical holes. The back nine has a lot of long holes with one hole that looks like a ski hill, some of the holes provide a great view of Mt Jefferson.. If you enjoy hiking, I would walk this course. I have walked it three times. The pro shop staff is very friendly.
The Edge
Fine course layout and conditions for November. Well defined grass cuts, fun greens. Mule deer kinda get in the way and don't rake the traps. Great vistas!
Fun Time
Challenging course but lots of fun if you have a good attitude
Rivers Edge
Staff was very friendly, course was in good shape, some of the greens were a little bumpy but that is expected for fall golf in Central Oregon. I will play there again as long as the weather holds out. It was sunny and 68 degrees and no wind, doesn't get much better then that. Played with a foursome and finished in under four hours.
Challenging Walk!
Few people out there on the day we played so finished in 3 1/2 hrs. - nice! Unfortunately we played a week or so after the greens had been punched so they were a bit rough. Take note that it is a very hilly course; it is a challenging walk. Its not a bad course but when there so many other choices in the Bend area I would probably not go back.
Highlight of my trip to Bend, OR
Played a beautiful twilight round, when the course was very quiet. Amazing vistas, tons of wildlife (marmots, chipmunks, Canadian geese), and breathtaking elevation changes. Loved this course and will play again once we return!
Tight fairways, takes some local knowledge.
Not a great layout but affordable, best to keep the driver in the bag on several holes, gets better the more you play it and figure out the right strategy. Take a cart unless you're a youngster, lots of elevation change.
aWESOME COURSE..
I was a great time golfing. very friendly. Good food and drink..
Will golf again..
Thanks

Challenging Course
The course is very hilly so not easy to walk, but has great views of the city and mountains.
Beautiful Track along Deschutes River
Diverse, well-cared-for, course with terrain. Friendly staff make this course totally enjoyable. An important recreational facility in Bend.
Challenging course with great views of surrounding area.
Although it was a cold day, we enjoyed the course which was in pretty good condition after a long cold winter. Lots of up and down the mountains but very playable.
Hidden Gem
Course was tucked away in a housing development on a hillside. Holes were beautiful and different with plenty of elevation and angles to consider off the tees and into the greens. Fairways were fair and greens were excellent. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Would play here again as the value and beauty of the course with the condition is a true bargain
Golf carts
I've taken trips to the Bend- Redmond area for over 10 years. We always looked forward to playing here. The course has always been in good condition for spring. We did not golf here last year. This year (2017) I was happily surprised to find out Rivers Edge had finally upgraded their old beater gas golf carts to electric carts. THANK YOU !! We greatly enjoyed playinh here yhis year.
Great Golf Course
The course has a little of everything, from short, tricky holes to long ones requing distance as well as control. It's challenging and fun - a great golfing experience. I could play here every day and never get tired of it.
