Hiland Park Country Club

I love this course. A variety of shots and you get to use most, if not all of the clubs in the bag! It was in great shape when I played. Tee's, fairways, greens, even bunkers were all in great shape. The greens rolled very nice!

Our foursome enjoyed the round in 4 hours. Golf course condition and layout well worth the money..

Very good course. Early in season. teeboxes were fine. a Little winter sand ongreens.

Great course in excellent shape. Friendly, accommodating staff

I play this course frequently and love it more each time I play it. It starts with Pro Jim Jeffers and his staff, Brian, Brendan and Quentin. They are all professional, welcoming, courteous and helpful, even though I am not a member. The course itself has a great layout, is well maintained, and is set against a backdrop of lower Adirondack mountains. Play moves right along. My 13 year old son and I played 18 in 3 hours yesterday without rushing. Prices are reasonable to say the least. I rarely play elsewhere.

The course was in great condition. The greens were running at a good pace. The staff was friendly. Great bang for your $$

Challenging but not too much so. Very friendly staff and the course is in excellent shape. Love the electric carts vs. gas.

Pretty, well maintained course. Except some of the tee boxes were a bit beat up. Restrooms on the course were kind of gross. No soap. No hot water. But better than using the woods I suppose. Maybe not. Staff was very friendly.

They've really done a great job with this course. Seems to be fairly easy to get a tee time most days and course is in very good shape. Open enough to keep my driver in play on all holes when it drifts to the right! All holes are enjoyable, including a late water trap on #9 and a 194 yard Par 3 for number 11. I'll play here as much as I can!

Wet but in good shape been a member here before. Great loop for intermediate. Beginners are intimated

Tee to green the course was is great condition. I am giving this course an 8 out of 10 rating. Front 7 and the Back 9. Well worth the fees charged.

Excellent shape, no delays, a bit long but doesn't play long. One of my favorites.

Very long course with a pro style feel. Always maintained and a lot of fun challenging holes. Definitely headed back for another round at this addictive course. Only issue I had seen was this dirty outdated bathroom which didn't seem to belong in such a nice place!

I've looked forward to playing Hiland Park for a few years. I've heard many fellow golfers give excellent reviews. That's probably why I was left a little disappointed. I think it's a 'me' issue as it's the last day of April and the grass is just starting to wake up.

From the overall appearance of the layout and the details like what appear to be flower areas and manicured shrubs near the tee boxes, it does look like it will be a terrific course from late May well through the fall. I do take into consideration the adjoining areas between golf holes as my experience is that courses that put the extra time into the finer detailing typically have the better greens and fairways.

I did have another issue, but again it's likely do to it being late April. It looked like we were the only foursome on the course. Over the 18 holes I think we let 7 people or twosomes pass through. This was very disruptive to our round. I'm going to cut Hiland a pass on this as it's pretty much pre-season golf.

Overall, an enjoyable experience, and I will be back to see if my expectations on Hiland are true.

Very nice course. Long and wide open. The greens are brutal!!!

My dad and I played the course on 09/18/14 under cloudy skies with a cool, spotty drizzle. It didn't hamper our enjoyment of the course. From check in through the 18th green, we were treated very well. The fairways were perfect and the bunkers and rough well maintained. The greens had been aerated in the last 2 weeks but were healing well and rolling smooth. The carts were electric and reasonably well maintained. We got a couple burgers and chips and beer and the prices were "ok" for those. We got a $25 hot rate and felt lime we hot the lottery to at this course for such a reasonable rate.

really great course. great condition for this late in the season. no one pushing behind us. no one in front of us. just a great time overall.

Good challenging course, some blind shots, interesting and nice environment. Some of the fairways a bit dried out, but overall in good shape. Greens are well maintained.
