Play was a little slow, but course was in great condition! Will come back every year!

What a gem definitely the nicest course in the area

I played on October 14th. My fault trying to play at 7:30 am in October in the north country. So there was a frost delay for about two hours that morning. While I waited inside the pro Jim or John was awesome and kept everyone entertained with his card tricks and was just really a great dude. I was a single and the course was filled with members ready to play. Jim allowed me to tee off first so I could whip around the course. I finished in 2 1/2 hours. Course was in amazing shape. You would have thought it was mid June how nice it was. Greens rolled great and the fairways were nice and tight. Beautiful views and fun holes made this my most enjoyable round of the year. Not the hardest course in the world but there were some challenging shots.

Hyland golf course is very beautiful and green. Large trees in play on some hole. Most tee shots you can use driver but on a few you should club down for accuracy.

The greens were in good condition and rolled smoothly.

Course looked a little neglected, maybe because its late in the season, but September golf in the northeast is the best time.

Greens a little more bumpy than usual. Women's tee boxes especially needed work. Love the course , but it could use a ranger to keep pace of play going or better booking. A round shouldn't take five hours, even on a weekend.

Hiland is a great place for golf. The Pro Shop Staff, especially the Pro, Jim Jeffers was incredibly nice. He gave us a trivia question to answer for a free lunch.....and we got it right. Course was great and the service outside made us feel like a private club......Hiland Golf Club..."GO PLAY"!

Great layout with some challenging greens. Wedding on the 18th green was nicely done. Wish I crashed it but wasn't dress to impressed. Great value and restaurants had good deal for food. Thinking of membership.

This course is a really good value. If Country club for a day is what you're looking for, this is it. Fun playable layout. Nice variety of Par 4's and 3's. Gorgeous view of grande clubhouse coming up 18. The range at sunset is worth a photo or two. You can see mine on IG @bw22retouch I'm from DC and played back to back days here I liked it so much. Cart girls take care of you on the course, nice little stop to grab food and drinks at the turn. Post round can be spent in the grande grill room with sweeping views of 18. Post round Burger was 4 star. This is a no brainer to play here.

Moved along well @ 4 hours and 15 minutes for 18 holes, but for a slower foursome in front of us, that could have been under 4 hours.

I like everything about this course. We played the front 9 in 1 1/2 hours--unfortunately the back 9 took more than 2 1/2. .Slow play and constant waiting are not good for your game or for your overall enjoyment of the game.

This course is a gem. I had a fantastic round... I got a great rate on Golfnow. It is well worth the trip.. I will definitely play again...

Course was not busy when we arrived and they allowed us to tee off about 45 minutes before our scheduled tee time. Course in excellent shape.

Great course. Great people. Great prices. Will definitely be back.

A Fabulous course with challenging Greens. Beautifully manicured. I would like to play this course again. Highly recommend it.

The course has a good layout and is fair. Pace of play very good. Overall course was in great shape.

Was disappointed that the grill room was not open for food after we played

Hiland for the money is one of the best courses in upstate New York. The course is challenging yet fair. The greens are really rolling great this year hats off to the staff. Beverage and food price are reasonable. No better place to spend a beautiful day.

Course was in excellent condition, the entire staff from pro to the person taking our cart at the end of the round were all outstanding, courteous, polite, and friendly. Great golf experience!!

It had been a number of years since I played Hiland Country Club . Back then the standards were very high and those standards have been maintained ..The overall conditions were excellent except for the "rough" which needed to be cut down a bit around the greens however this could have been due to recent rains ? The layout is well done and overall very fair to suit most golfers. The greens were in perfect shape and it doesn't hurt to know a little bit more about them.. The surrounding views of the Adirondacks is beautiful and the course is located just south of Lake George NY. The staff from the pro shop to the cart guys were very friendly...We had a great time and can't wait to return to play again over the summer.. If you're in the area, you have to "play" Hiland. And the pricing due to Golf Now was extremely good....
