Great 9 hole local course
The course was in great condition and the layout is fun. Real tight fairways lined with houses pretty much every hole, and hazards on the wider fairways, so shot planning is definitely needed. Pace of play was really slow for a Saturday morning, but overall had fun playing for the first time. The course is longer than it looks like, in the middle of a nice neighborhood. There’s no range, only a couple practice “cages/nets”, but that helps for warming up.
Very nice
A 9 hole course through a very nice neighborhood. A legit 9 hole course with an earned 36 par. Fairways are generously wide, but if you are a big slicer, you can still ding a home. Has enough water and sand to keep you on your toes and greens are where you will be challenged. Great shape, but slick fast with some surprising breaks.
Super friendly staff and golfers, who most all walk the course w/pull carts.
An excellent value.
Nice course
A legitimate 9 hole course that is fun to play with challenging greens. Easy to walk, as green to tee is near. Beautiful homes line the course, but wide fairways greatly reduce chance of replacing windows.
The greens are fast, with difficult to read breaks, but in great shape.
Claremont is in the best shape I’ve ever seen
I’ve played at Claremont for more than 15 years and have enjoyed having a 9 hole course so close to home. The staff has done an incredible job of keeping the course in great shape. Playing today, I’m happy to say it is in the best shape I’ve ever seen it. The greens are incredible. It’s a gem of a course, unless you have a radical hook or slice. Lots of homes on every hole. Fortunately I kept it in the fairway and shot a 41. .
This course in great condition
Well recommended, easy access and reasonable price.
Thus course is a wonderful way to get in 9 holes of 2:15-2:30 minutes. Course has legitimate par 5 ,500 yds and par 4’s that are tough.
When many people see nine holes they think executive course. Believe me this is not an executive course with a 500 yard part 5 .. if you really want to enjoy nine holes because you don’t have time for a whole day of golf, this is the best course to visit in the metro area. I really wanna keep it a secret.!!!!
Claremont course
Nice course, good condition, greens well groomed, very fast. Lack of off course amenities, no lounge or 19th hole, and no service while playing. A good value overall.
Good to be back
First time back on course after winter.. My game was awful but the enthusisam of being OUT on beautiful course was GREAT!!
Staff/ Starter was extremely helpful and fun.. Carts were clean and fast and quiet..
Just wish there were instructuors available..
Great 9 hole course
If you have never played this course before you should definitely play it.! The greens were aerated and sanded 10-14 days prior to us playing but were still in very good shape. The course is surprisingly longer than it appears and at times very technical. It is a course I highly recommend playing. It is also a great value.. good course to go out and play and have fun with a group.!
